63 years old, and just starting to learn how to love myself, when I lost my mother, I realize that I was alone, and I needed to reprogram my mind into the future, I’m doing it now, but man is it hard and painful?

Yes! I was told this too. It was only in my grandmother's presence where I felt seen and heard. How do I keep myself from wanting to go back to the time when she was here? When she left this world changed me so much and led me down a narcissistic path.

@@diane2413 thank you for sharing, i’m at my wits end, so angry at myself that at 63 years old, I don’t know how to live, I gave my life up for my family and now my family is not here for me, person that truly loved me my mom and now she’s gone. She’s been gone for about a year now. I listen to Dr. Joe dispenser a lot, but I wonder if it’s too late for me , can’t find a job about to get evicted. All of my savings went to my mom when she was here now I’m pennyless. Walking around in fair despair, afraid of the unknown., I wish I was a lot longer than I am

I am nearly 68 and only in the last 15 yrs or so finally realized what was going on in my family or origin. I was always invisible yet responsible for the way my mother felt and how her day went. My brother was the golden child, and still to this day has no recognition of the dynamics of our family and my father also had some narcissistic tendencies. However, he learned to have his needs met by giving my mom whatever she wanted he never stood up for me to protect me from the emotional and verbal abuse, and he himself participated in physical abuse, my whole life has been colored by this horrendous abuse. With whatever time I have left, I want to honor myself and give myself what I need. No one can understand this unless they have experienced it.

I am trying to help a friend who's asked for advice in dealing with her Narcissistic mother and, so I automatically thought of you, and your wonderful insightful videos!! If I may ask, what video of yours could I start her off with to begin her journey to "self-awareness, learning about Narcissism/Codependency and overall self-healing" while still dealing with her mother? If this video is one, it's a great one!! I would so appreciate your input and so will she!!❤️🥰🙏

I don't know this young man, but I pray he thinks long and hard about even continuing to deal with this young girl if she continues treatinh him this way!! I for one, feel that when you're with a person/people and they choose to talk on, text, and pay attention to their cellphone more often vs the person they should be engaging with, that is very rude and disrespectful.

Children are not programmed with negativity because children are not robots... children live through trauma inflicted by family and then have to let go of the negativity. If the children do not have freedom from the neural implants and the illegal medical devices in their brains... they will never be able to let go of it because abusers who like to justify abuse will chase them around and remind them of it consistently...
