Self Filmed Pennsylvania Bowhunt
I self filmed this south central Pennsylvania 8 point with my bow. With a miss on opening day of archery season and another encounter with a good buck that did not end the way I wanted I was relieved when I had the chance to harvest this deer. Many times we deal with all types of problems in the Pa deer woods but we overcome them and it always makes the harvest feel so much better!

Because when we got up to the arrow it had like a brownish color on it indicating it wasn’t a heart shot and threw us off because it looked real good when I shot if. It was strange it ended up being a double lung shot

Congrats! Great shot 👍🏻 my pa buck the arrow deflected off a branch and spined him.... ended up having to shoot him 3 times. Sometimes thats just how it goes in archery.

I like to be honest I did think he was a different buck it all happened so fast but I am tickled pink harvesting him! food in the freezer and a beautiful euro on the wall
