I love how you emphasize the need for this be to an ongoing activity, that it is a daily or continuous activity that we partake in from ourselves.
If you're cup is always empty, you don't have any reserves to help others. And keeping that cup always full ensures you're at your very best.
Thanks, Elliott! I agree with you that "self-care" can be taking the time to watch a TV show or playing a video game. I like watching TV shows that give me a sense of how people are living in places that I don't live in. It gives me a sense of knowing what people and life are like beyond my environment, or existence even. For myself, I don't use the words "self-care" when I indulge. I call it "self-enrichment" because of what I gain from the experiences as an individual 🥰 . . . and I need enrichment REGULARLY (lol). Thanks again!👍🏾
