I'm a beginner at sewing, and looked at several videos, even did a couple of tests of other methods before I came to yours, and found your instructions to be so clear and easy to follow. The results for me came out much nicer than other attempts. It actually looks like I know what I'm doing. ☺Thank you so much for sharing this excellent tutorial.

I agree and had similar experience. Somehow I managed to mess up some of the other, supposedly fool proof self-binding techniques. This one is clear and easy.

@@christinapearce859 You're replying to my comment, not the main video. So, it doesn't make much sense. How could you not notice that? If one is going to make critical comments on someone else's 'mistakes' one should probably pay a little more attention to what they're doing themselves. Your whole comment is just a mess.
Whoa! Did anyone else notice how the wool mat came to her when she needed it? That was awesome, I need to get me one of those!

It’s magic!!! Lol
Your instructions are perfectly explained and easy to follow. You're a great teacher. It really helps to talk all the small steps through so we can understand what you know by heart. I'm a beginner and your video is the best one I've ever seen that clearly and concisely instructs how to sew mitered corners for all levels of sewers! Well done and thank you!
Three years late to the game here, but your technique is way easier than other videos I have watched and tried to do at home. Thank you so much!
I make placemats all the time but your video provided an awesome, yet simple way to do the corners (which are always a challenge!!!). With your instruction, I believe my binding on not only placemats but also table runners where I use self-binding will be so much more attractive & provide a beautifully finished look. Thank you sooooo much!!! Happy sewing!

I can't even remember how many videos I've watched to discover how to miter a self-binding quilt! You have saved my sanity, Cindy, because your demonstration is the clearest and most concise step-by-step set of instructions I have come across!! Thank you so very much as I totally understand the process now!! You da bestest!! 🥰
Just finished asset of placemats and they were perfect. Thank you
Very beautiful and looks fun. Thank you for the video.
I picked up quilting to keep sane while Covid. Never in my life I had quillted and I have amazed myself. This is the most awesome and easiest video for mitered corners I have seen in two years. I also learn another way to use my CG 6 inch ruler I had no idea about. I used this technique on a table top for Valentines. The best mitered corners I have done yet. Thank you Cindy for this video. Keep them coming as you have another subscriber.
