It only happens when JAR files are not added to Classpath. Please make sure all the JAR files are added correctly.

If you are using Java 8, then Modulepath and Classpath can't show. Definitely there is some other issue.

There is actually no need to upgrade beyond Java 11. If you want to go further, you can try Java 16. But I wouldn't recommend Java 17 or 18.

Hi i am downloaded the selenium4.1.0. after completion of the download i used to unzip the file using winrar after extracting that there are more sub zip files in that could you please help me in that i am facing more problem

You simply need to add all the JAR files you are seeing, as mentioned in the video you may see more or less files depending on the version. Please provide details of the issues you are seeing.

I have one question , in my project which was build with selenium 3.141.59 there was a client-combined jar file which i can see is missing from selenium 4 , do you know why they have removed it , or more specifically why we needed client-combined jar files ? Also is there any alternative in selenium 4 ?

This is just a backend change from Selenium WebDriver development side, it doesn't impact anything from the perspective of using Selenium WebDriver. Instead of having all the APIs in Client Combined, they created different JAR files for every driver and they are all in the download package which we add to the project build path.

They will not show if you are using JDK 8. Just directly add the JAR files, no need to worry about Modulepath and Classpath.

The only reason this will happen is if you missed to add one of the JAR file. Please make sure you add all the JAR files.

That could be an issue with Eclipse, try restarting Eclipse and if it still doesn’t work then type the import statement manually. Next time you restart, it should work.

Yes, Java should be installed in the system before setting up Selenium WebDriver. JDK is a prerequisite for Selenium WebDriver setup.
