Age has nothing to do with your talent... It has to do with how you are within. She KNEW what she wanted and didn’t let anything stop her. That’s why she is and was iconic. Not cuz she’s 23 but cuz she’s smart and has a positive mindset

Luis Gutierrez well Beyonce had been performing since she was a kid 2. But she could’ve been performing from her time in the womb and still wouldn’t have been better than Selena. Selena didn’t need a earpiece, didn’t need to sing over the record playing, didn’t need to parade around in lingerie or bodysuits half naked twerking. Don’t get me wrong I like Beyoncé but no one will be ever like Selena.

Selena passed away when she was just 23, and even after her death look at how she still being famous 👏🏼

This actually was not earlier on in her career this was the last concert she performed in before she died about a month later. SUCH a talented performer, what a shame she was taken from this earth so tragically and so young!

She was way bigger and still is bigger today even with her not being here 💜🌹

@@cabun57 No, Selena Y Los Dinos had a few more performance after this. The last one was about two weeks before she passed. The concert at the Astrodome was in February 24, it was televised. Why they termed it as the last concert Idk even the family was puzzled by it but any way check out some of the interviews where the family discuss these things and her husband Chris in his book talks about it. If you don't have the book I suggest you get it its fantastic. I'm just sorry Chris wasn't able to turn it into a series like he wanted to. Any way that's a story for another day. There's some vids on their last performances, one being in Chicago. Check it out. ☺

The really crazy thing is Selena's musical prowess hadnt even peaked!!! The brief life of Selena proves she wasnt just some regular star she was definetly one in a million something rare in a lifetime.

I was born in 94 but my mom and sisters always played Selena’s music and when I was old enough my mom let me watch the movie. I’m so glad I was exposed to her music. Now I torture my self watching her videos on KZread and literally cry every time I watch the full Astrodome concert.
