A lot of people get mad at the family for profiting off her but I’m greatful they keep sharing her with us giving us shows and movies and more music ❤

I remember when she was shot and we closed the hotel where I worked and listened on the radio to see if she’d survive then they announced that she past away and we was devastated. To this day I still cry when I watch her videos or listen to her music, not as a fanatical fan but as a person who loved her bc she stood for us Mexicans and was truly a beautiful person inside and out. We had a role model that was taken by another Mexican and it hurts to know Yolanda took our beautiful Tejano Queen away.

My mom is Dominican and black I remember my mom says that she was going see Selena but she was giving birth to me. Funny things that me and Selena have the same birthdays. Anyway my mom put me on Selena and other different types of music. I couldn't understand Spanish but my mom or my family could. But I appreciate my mom putting me on Selena because Selena wasn't just beautiful, sweet, kind, sassy and smart woman. She was every man dream to date and every woman or little girl wants to be. Selena and my mom probably dancing and talking each other. Rip to amazing queens

I’m going to tell you my story; and why I feel so closed to her! She started her career here in Texas. I actually went to one of her concerts here in in El Paso Tx. I was right at the front, she even looked at me, I don’t think she knew how famous she was getting. And I’m pretty sure everybody knows what they were doing when we heard the sad news! I was getting ready for a retreat because I was gonna get married June 24,1995 and I was at the retreat and they wouldn’t let you use those old phones or watch news! So I was so sad the whole weekend not knowing what really happened to her. If she was alive right now she would’ve been 52 years old like me. She was full of life😭 she didn’t deserved that,I think she was naïve. She never saw how bad some people can be. And that defamation that she was having an affair with that Dr is a big lied. She loved Christ with all her heart. I was born February 1971 and she was born March 1971 I mean at that age you’re young starting your life, and she didn’t have that. And she definitely didn’t deserved that. And until now 2023 my hearts breaks in pieces when I see her videos. ❤️forever Selena♥️

Someone talked about her skin and she went straight on to what about her body.. I'm sorry but as a man married to a very sexy Latina woman. I can say this was way to focused on Selenas sexuality and the sexuality of little Latina girls than it was about Selena her self.

I think a lot of people still remember what age they were and what they were doing the night that Selena was murdered. I was 17 and just came in the door from a fast food place that I worked at and the whole family was in the living room in front of the TV and the first thing they said is Selena is dead and it was Yolanda that shot her and they were watching the police negotiating with Yolanda live. I was in shock. Before that, we would wait for all the Spanish shows to come on just to watch their guest Selena perform. And I would laugh when the grown women would make a snarky comment about her just because they were jealous. As a young lady I loved Selena and knew the ladies were making snarky comments just because Selena had it going on. I have a 15 yr old daughter now who never got to experience Selena as I did and who loves Selena as much as I do. Selena has lived on in the younger generation.

No one could predict what would happen that day . ..all I'm saying is now that I've seen this segment of this part about this other woman that stands up for YS is misinforded ...but it's ok bc I know if Yolanda is relised? She won't get 100 yards from the prison gates before someone takes her out ....Screw YS .

Abraham isn't perfect; however, the true culprit will always be Yolanda in my book. How exactly do you sleep at night after A.) Killing someone's daughter and B.) Accuse the daughter's father of a word that I won't type? It's sad to know that even if Yolanda FINALLY told the truth about what she did, Selena still won't be brought back to life.

My heart hurts for such a beautiful soul, and person, being stripped of her right to live, at the hands of a person who has no heart, to be able to take her parents child, and suzette, and AB's sister, and Chris' wife. And their future childrens mother. And, AB, and Suzettes children, and/ or future childrens Tia. All over some money, and greed, and an obsession. Its all so senseless that this beautiful young girl, who was barely starting to live, was taken. I love selena, and always will. That monster may have stopped her life. But, she didnt stop her light from shining. And for all who keep her light shining, she may be gone in body, but she will live on in our hearts forever. God Bless You sweet angel. I pray you are resting in peace. 😢💔

It angers me to know, even til this day and as a half Texan that there exist racism among the Hispanic community. To be honest, I speak more fluent Spanish than English, which I can just tell people I'm from Mexico, even though I was born in LA, my dad born in Houston, raised in Matamoros, and my mom from Guanajuato. I do have a really heavy Mexican accent that I can sound like I barely came from Nuevo Leon. I'm pretty proud of it. Lol

She is a goddess and legend forever. No disrespect. The woman who said "who would want to shoot seleena"? I'll answer tht. She was a person that was accepted by many. With that comes people with secret intentions. She was also rich and other people weren't as rich. Me idc if my friend is a millionaire ill stil show love and loyalty with or without the money. Everybody not like that. Jealousy. People be pocket watching and become inveous. RIP SELENA

Her reputation has been tarnished. It is so very sad. That woman in jail is evil but she has got people backing her up, including the doctor that Selena had an affair with. I am just so very sad and I feel sad for what she had to go through with her father because it wouldn’t work she needed to be on her own and he wouldn’t let her. He was very controlling and that’s one thing that everyone agrees on she needed to be able to spread her wings and he never let her including falling in love. She could not even express herself. I love, Chris. Poor thing she had to marry him for her father to except to think about that think about how hard that must’ve been on her and Chris

How now, Selena Quintanillas story stands as the cornerstone foundation of the present day Human Rights/Anti-Human traffickicking, forced career, and Social Justice movements in a technologically advanced society. The modern day entertainment industry in particular the music industry as well as various communication and communications media have also been largely founded by those present involved in the production of these events which stand as a most severe matter. We see here in every instance the forced nature of the career of every female artist as well as others on hand in the most physically intrusive manners; who appear in this tejano so called racially commercialized and community destroying endeavour. Which has effectively silenced the voices of entire communities and the human rights movement as a whole. This behavior has continued till present day, simultaneously we see those personally accountable for what truly is a human catastrophe for all society as a whole and brazenly promotes complicity to an already at risk population. The abusive tactics used to intimidate persons vulnerable like Selena Quintanilla highlights the need for immediate societal education. Education on forced relationships, which clearly begets the norm here, and crime free atmospheres which are needed in an advanced tech society faced with long term accountability. Even one such instance resembling what we see here such as that of Ariana Grande has been globally lambasted for offensive volatility, why is this still being allowed in global silence here. Do good to be, question id imposition
