11lelue11; I'm so sorry. My condolences. I've lost loved ones to different things including my Mom whom I was very close to. Its never easy. I lost my cousin who was also my best friend to domestic abuse. I tried everything I could to get her out of that situation but to no avail. A few weeks before she died I had dreamt that she had disappeared and I didn't know where she had gone. But concerning Chris I think he is starting move forward now. His music doing great, he just got his 'Walk of Fame' award. He said that he was in a better place. I love the song he dedicated to Selena. Beautiful and sad. R.I.P. angel💝💝

11lelue11 I Lost My Baby granddaughter and only a year and a couple months old. She was adopted away from her sister and me by a cynical corrupted ring of child protective services purpose of making money. The government adopted her literally and we will never see her again and it's now been nearly 10 years. Her older sister quit school and quit her goals, and as far as I know is living on the street. This business has become so corrupt with child trafficking across the United States but even attorneys and judges are involved because they are afraid to do anything about it for a loss of their own families. Senator Nancy Schaefer was murdered right before her trip to DC with proof. You can look her up on KZread and hear what she said. She was helping all the parents and grandparents keep their families together. It feels the same as a death which is why I relate so much to Chris's pain. I have lost two children. My daughter not able to take it anymore contracted cancer. I don't know how long she will make it. She's only 39 years old. I hope one day before I die I might see my granddaughter's again, but the baby won't be 18 for another 7 years and hopefully she stays alive that long because the dad is a pervert. There is no one to call because police will not become involved against CPS. I was a city councilwoman of the time with legislators fighting with me and later ran for Senate endorsed by my state but didn't win. I wanted to shut them down for good. We desperately need an honest system.

Barbara Mowrey Selena died 2 weeks before her 24th birthday so won't that make it next year on March 31st that Selena has been gone as long as she was alive

I've lost someone important to me the same way everybody lost Selena. The pain never goes away. It's just like the ocean. Some days are peaceful while other days have tons of waves (of sadness) and some waves are bigger than others. But shortly after the loss the waves are huge and frequent and over time they don't loose intensity they loose frequency

It takes a special and amazing woman to be with someone like him. They’re out there. Like Damon Dash’s wife (he lost Aaliyah) and he still talks about her to this day and his wife respects it and honors her.

Can you imagine trying to start a relationship with Chris when his first wife was Selena???Vanessa's a brave girl and I don't have anything against her at all! In fact, I admire her. He was still grieving, and I was surprised at how quickly he remarried Vanessa - but it's understandable that he would have a young man's needs ...But he did go off the rails, he was doing drugs and alcohol - and it was a difficult relationship. At least Vanessa had Cassie and Noah, but Chris couldn't have a real relationship with them until they were older. He needed to heal first. I know his kids mean the world to him - it's very obvious. And he's very proud of them. I understand that he's also in a relationship with MJ now - who has also done a couple of tributes to Selena. It can't be easy to be compared to Selena, is what I'm saying. Because no one will ever compare to her. I listen to Chris's new music, and I see Chris these days, and he looks happy and content with life. He lights up when he talks about Selena now. But he's definitely not 'the eternal widow' - he's learned to get on with his life, and I'm very happy for him.
