Ramy Farah when I heard it I had a feeling she wasn’t going to be into it for some reason because she already felt Taylor Swift vibes and once she’s thrown off it kind of goes down hill from there. I honestly enjoyed the album a lot. I already know selena is not a vocalist. And she implements a lot of studio background sounds within her music. I also think the album gets better after another listen because it’s a grower. Rare was an intro to let us know she’s rare and then the rest of the album lets us know why.

On my initial listen I didn’t quite like it but then tracks such as “Rare” “Ring” “Dance Again” “Vulnerable” “People you know” and “Crowded Room” grew on me. But I still think that back when Selena was releasing music with The Scene, she had way better music.

Rare - she didn’t like it, thought it was a weak opener, thought it was boring and should’ve had more depth Dance Again - she grooves along to it, thinks something is missing / off in the bridge and basically it’s a grower Look at her now - She sings a long and throws shade at the other but still isn’t keen Lose you to love me - She sings along, harmonises with the chorus, laughs at the performance and adores the song but wants more emotion Ring - Picks the lyrics apart kind of, reminds her of Havana, likes the lyrics ish, starts growing on her towards the end. It very pleased in the end. Puts a mark to it. Vulnerable - Vibes throughout the song, wishes it was done differently, didn’t like the hook/chorus, loves the pre chorus, loved the way she sung the pre chorus and outro, thinks it had potential but crashed before its landing People You Know - Thinks it was ‘ok’ and listenable, relatable but nothing outstanding A skip Let Me Get Me - Interesting in a bad way, doesn’t understand the point in it. Didn’t like it, her worst so far. Crowded Room - Shocked by her vocals, thinks the chorus is basic and doesn’t like it, likes the feature. Could’ve been so much better. 6Lacks part was her favourite! Kinda Crazy - Plays the bridge again because she likes it & ‘it’s Gorgeous’ but thinks the rest of the song was bad really! @@gx2553 It's not an opinion, it's a fact, the girl can't sing, she has a 5 notes vocal range, she has a terrible sense of pitch, she has no agility and basically no belting range. That y'all like her doesn't change the fact that she can't sing.

I feel like the songs weren’t meant to have cool beats and it’s not meant to be the catchiest either, it focuses more on the lyrics than any of those things. It’s something you listen to and think about and relate. it’s not a song you dance too when having a party or a song that everyone knows. It’s a little more personal. Anyways my favourites are ring and crowded room and lose you to love me.

Yeh Selena has nothing unique about her music. And she’s worse when she’s singing solo than with other artists. And sometimes talks instead of singing and I hate that but she probably can rap better than Taylor soooo

For selena's next album i think she should take a new path. The sounds from ring, cut you off, even rare a little bit, i feel like this is what she should be doing, more acoustic, guitar sounds, little latin influences, softer sounds mixed into it as well, cause that's where she does good. We need more of a selena who shows off her vocal talent instead of the robotic back vocals, auto tuned, trap, dance pop, juvenile, bland kinda empty sounds.

i feel like this is like selena’s “sweetener” album. DEFINITELY not her best but it’s not that bad either

@@ZA-tn9rc Personal tastes are a thing, just because someone doesn't like it doesn't mean it's bad, in fact I just came from other youtuber's review (honest) and he said he loved the album, I just listened to 4 songs and I liked those four, but I do know that Selena's style is not my thing, I didn't like revival that much either, but just because I don't PERSONALLY like it doesn't mean I am gonna trash an artist and an album, I would just say that I don't like it period.

In Vulnerable - I particularly loved that Prechorus and hook because I feel like it was intentional. The build is her building up that courage and strength, and then the hook drops to that “I’ll stay vulnerable” because it brings her back to her humbled self and I feel like it makes sense with the lyrics. If that makes sense?

Personally I actually really like this album It gives me a bunch of classic feels Like she came back after all this time and she had fun with what she was making and I loved it Look at her now can like low key choke but the rest is great
