I had a best friend, we used to call EVERYday to play and we went to the same school. I had a friend i really cared about. Friends for about 6-8 years. Recently he seems to have fallen into a bad crowd. He never lied, he was always honest, was a golden guy but ... somethings wrong with him. He's changed. He doesn't take responsibility for the things he does and chooses to throw everyone around him under the bus. I was one of them. His girlfriend broke up with him and somehow managed to blame me. He then made me out to be a villain to all my other friends in his group until I had nothing left. He spread so many lies about me, things I never said things I never did. Stories that never happened. It just.. sucks, but what sucks the most is all the people I lost from his lies.

Me and my best friend have known each other since 5th grade, and now they doesn’t even invite me to hangout. They got a boyfriend and more friends. Now I just sit at home listening to musics like these. It always makes me cry listening to this. But I am glad since they still invite me to their birthday parties. I am grateful for that. I had a cousin who was like a sis, we shared every single piece of happiness until she got married.. now we are more than strangers😢.. when you go through certain situations that's when you understand the lyrics (people u know to people u don't)

This song is relatable on an otherworldly level. I'm not even finished with middle school, and I've only had 6 friends so far. The first one I made was in the first grade, but she never really spent time with me and mostly talked about me behind my back but I pretended not to know because I was desperate. In second grade a new girl came to our class. She had been to all the other parallel classes and this was the last one, if she wouldn't have been accepted she would have left the school. Me, her and another girl from my class were the outcasts and considered wierd. The three of us made a great trio, always there for eachother. And, we grew distant to eachother slowly. The third girl is not really talking to us anymore, and the secong girl and me aren't talking as much anymore either. We're growing apart, but sadly that's just how life works and I've learned to accept it. That even the closest people in your life can stray from friendships, wether it's an argument or simply life. We haven't talked in months, almost a year now. We just ignore eachother, but not because we want to get rid of eachother and forget, but because we have nothing to share. And not only that. She's still hated, while I've been accepted by the others. That's only because she has trouble learning and has an uncommon personality. But that's not the point. The thing is, that's how life works. It's not it without love and loss, and at the end of the day, we're all similar in more ways than one would think. We just can't learn to accept it.

Dang , sorry to hear that I haven’t even finished and it’s been hell to , fake friends jerks people using you for money but the best thing to do is hang on , one of them used me and say someone liked me and never did and pranked me and that hurt me because I just got out of a situation like that so toxic , so it hurt really bad then I sugery the week after and then they bully me for not knowing how to do volley ball then when I get mad at them for being mean to me and yelling at me and being a jack !!! I’m the jerk and a “ hypocrite “ so I realized the only person that can make you happy is yourself and it took me years to learn that but better learn now because people will hurt you but there’s always good people , so sorry for how the way people have treated you or anyone people can be jerks but your a great person never forget that

I can relate to this song on a spiritual level. I feel like my best friends for 10 years are just slowly becoming strangers I just feel left out of everything and they all got way closer during the summer and it’s as if I’m a stranger to them now and it feels as if my presence bothers them and that our friendship feels forced and idk what to do I love them so much but I don’t think they care about me anymore and our friendship seems very distant and shallow now and it’s honestly a super weird feeling I never thought this would happen to us we’ve made the best memories together and I don’t think I’m ready to let go of them yet :(

Maybe tell them about how they're making you feel, if they're really your friends they'll try and work it out with you, maybe tell your closest friend of the group as they'll be more likely to understand and it'll be easier to tell the rest of them

My bestfriend ended our friendship on 17 april 2020... We used to be classmates but now we've different sections... We used to be very close and we talked everyday, I shared many things with him...!! The new friends I got slowly grew into a friend group but I noticed that I was more distant than everyone. Even when I tried to be closer everyone always seemed closer as a collective group and school ended up being too much for me. I left my school to continue my education online and I was doing so good. my depressed state felt lighter without all the stress of school. Expect none of my friends tried to get in contact with me. I thought this was weird so I tried staying in contact with my closest friend and the way she was saying it no one missed me. She eventually started growing farther apart from me and now we don’t even talk. IT’S BEEN MONTHS HELP! I don’t even know if I should try and text her again. Maybe she’s more happier with them. Something same happened to me. I try to think that if they wanted to keep the friendship, they would've tried to keep in contact. But then I constantly feel it was my fault, I should've tried more. Regret is much more painful than missing someone, so I hope you try not to have regrets. The bitter truth is that true friends are very and extremely rare. You will find one if you're lucky, but remember you have to be your own best friend first. No one is worth more than your mental health. Focus on your future goals and maybe you'll find someone along the way💙

Me and my bestie were so close before , but we are not anymore as my bestie used to be (in present times) with her best friends , talk to them and have fun , whenever I used to come and ask her if she is free or not she always makes excuses. We used to be talk alot , have so much similarities , so much fun , and enjoyed each other's company . And when I said that let's end up our friendship she begged me to be with me and make it right she promised me that she would balanced the time with her besties and me but that never happened and now it's like we used to be close but people can go from people you know , to people you don't , and what hurts the most is the people can go , from people you know , to people you don't . Man i grew up witha friend group in my home country and they were so close to me, i had to move away from them cus i moved countries. Now everyone in my school and around me are just friend that all grew up together and i dont fit in with anyone. I cam back to my home country a while ago and all tge friends who grew up with me are still in the same class and still hang out a lot, but they seem to be really respectful and distant towards me whereas chill in their own group and for eight years i was counting on them accepting me as their friend.
