This song has two sides you can understand, the first one is that the girl wants to get the love from her boyfriend (or ex boyfriend) but he couldn't give her the love she deserves and when he finally lost her he realised her worth. The second one is that she needed to lose him in order for her to love herself on her own and stop depending on others who can't give her the love she deserves.

This is such a masterpiece. It’s true proud of Selena for realizing Justin wasn’t good for her. He didn’t treat her good.

I wish people understood how much of a masterpiece this song is. From the songwriting, to the production, to Selena's emotions and voice, everything is just amazing. Even the music video is a masterpiece.

I always knew who she was but because I'm much older, I didn't get it until this song. This made me fall in love with her music, her story, and the person she appears to be. I feel like 2019 was just here to give people heartbreak, false hope, and emotional rollercoasters. Almost everyone in 2019 who hadn't felt heartbreak had felt in in 2019 and it is the worst pain in the world, worse then any physical pain.

I didn't really know a whole lot about Selena and what she was going through but after hearing about what might have inspired this song, I feel so bad for her. It's nice to see she has Benny now and I hope she was given more than she lost.
