Dear friends,
when it comes to chub fishing during summer months you should consider trying lure fishing on trout rivers, when chub is active at daytime and can bite very well even at noon. In this case I would probably recommend some subsurface lures such as Jackall Micro Tappy, because chubs stay very often in a shallow water close to the bank under overhanging branches and grass. However, it doesn't work on all of trout rivers, because many of them are simply too cold even when it gets hot outside. Then use one more lure, which is in opposite selective for trouts - Jackall TN Vibration. This one easy penetrate into deep pools behind rocks in a fast current and may seduce also cautious experienced trouts. Such lure fishing style may be useful especially for beginners, which aren't ready yet for fly fishing or just enjoy casting lure.
