I play horn and our band director put us in the middle of the alto section. he split them and out us in the middle. There are 6 altos and three horns. But i wish horns had a solo. One of my favorite songs to play on horn was arabian dances. We had melodie for like 10 measures

This is also one of the few moments that Tenor Sax's "shared part" status is good. It carries the first song's melody almost the entire time.

As a former alto sax player and current trombone player, I would have loved to get a solo like that when I was just starting out. Flutes, clarinets, and trumpets get most solos, so I'm glad an arranger is giving background instruments something fun.

You know as a clarinet player I never really realized that. That’s because in my band the director gives the clarinets and flutes a melody to switch a song for trumpets and saxophones a melody and 2 songs for lower instruments and percussion( how they are split up is always different) so I didn’t know that.

I actually liked the sax solo in "How Far I'll Go" because it imitates Auli'i's voice very well. Sure it would have sounded better on flute or clarinet but I felt that Bocook's interpretation of the part felt it should be.

Y’all are complaining about the bongo solo but the bongos are actually pretty hard and I play percussion which is drums and bongos are apart of it and my bandmate plays the bongos and he said it is pretty difficult but once you’re able to play it it is easy and I play drum set and don’t play bongos at all but since I hear him play bongos I know how to play his part with out reading the music because he plays it all then time

I've been staring at the edge of the water 'Long as I can remember Never really knowing why I wish I could be the perfect daughter But I come back to the water No matter how hard I try Every turn I take Every trail I track Every path I make Every road leads back To the place I know where I cannot go Where I long to be See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me And no one knows How far it goes If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me One day I'll know If I go, there's just no telling how far I'll go
