To be particular, K-pop in early days mainly meant singing with little bit of dancing. And that's what MAMAMOO follows. Now they've made it harder because they are confident with their singing as well as dancing. But kpop meaning has changed and all do intense choreos. No hate but most groups mind more about dancing. Beacuse they are asked to meet up the expectations of people who think that groups just have intense dancing too.

Yeah that’s what makes K-pop genre stand-out before, Because of the flashy clothes,choreography,and vocal stability. - But for some reason the unique aspect of kpop before became too normal now, it’s like factory made idols nowadays. They only focus more on the choreography more than the fan service unlike the past generation, that’s why past gen groups have more charisma on stage even if they’re only standing there without doing anything. Same as mamamoo, can’t think of any groups who have that same charisma unlike their popularity.

There don't seem to be too many episodes of Men on a Mission (Knowing Brothers) where they do a lot of karaoke with the guests like this. I know they did it with Yoon Jong Shin and Ock Joo Hyun when they were guests. I imagine some singers don't want to sing live like that as they fear it will expose them as not being very good live singers, or the PD's know that the guests aren't really suitable for extended live singing so they don't break out the karaoke machine. This is a rare group where there isn't a vocal weak link or links and they nearly always sing live, so they have no fear of doing karaoke. Also this is a group with a lot of energy where there aren't any really shy members, so hamming it up while doing karaoke is very natural for them. I'm guessing the PD's were happy to bring on a guest for a treat with karaoke as the cast always seems to enjoy it.

i like Wheein more in this era. Out of all the members, when she smiles and laugh, you cant help but smile and laugh too. Nowadays, she's so guarded. You can only see the old playful Wheein on their MMMTV videos.🙁

tin dagohoy she went thru so much criticism and hate, ‘scandals’ and now we know she suffers from anxiety. It breaks me to know that a light like her can be dampened out. This industry is no joke. I hope one day wheein can be this comfortable again

She wasn't fine mentally the past few months. Maybe that's the reason but she's doing fine now.

Ianne Hyuuga yes, me too...well except for adele🤣...but she would never come to asia. I would love to go to mamamoo...very new to them but they are the only one who make me wanna go to their concert.

I feel as though so many idol groups focus too much on being good dancers and looking pretty. Don't see as much effort put into vocals. They just have to hit the note and be kind of stable as they dance. Mamamoo will always be my favorite cause they make sure people know, first and foremost, they are a VOCAL GROUP💜💜 Edit: It also pissed me off that they seem to kind of dismiss them in the beginning
