Those companies should be shut down and those CEO's in jail for being a criminal organization. The same happens to me with American Home Shield. And to fix the problem it was just $350..so I canceled the policy. I had it just for 2 months and that's enough. Headache and frustration for $350.

I have AHS. My hot water heater burst as well and water leaked everywhere in my garage. They sent out a technician the same day and he replaced it with a new one. I didn't have to haggle one bit. But I have had problems with the HVAC. It was leaking refrigerant from the coil. The technician says that it needs to be replaced, but that AHS will only cover repairs to my very old coil. So Everytime it gets a New leak, I have to pay AHS a $125 service fee, plus I have to pay $350 to refill the refrigerant out of my own pocket, because my particular plan doesn't cover refrigerant. All in all, they have repaired my microwave twice, my dishwasher three times, and my refrigerator three times. The fourth time my refrigerator broke again. This last time they covered the cost of a brand new refrigerator. I was really shocked because I thought they would only maybe give me a few hundred bucks for a really cheap fridge, but they gave me enough to purchase a new midrange fridge. So I honestly don't know if there is a better home warranty company out there, but I will say that I would give AHS a B+ rating.

It’s probably better to bank the money you’d pay a home warranty company and pay for our own repairs.

I wish i wouldve came across your channel before I became a customer, they are defiantly a rip off as of 6/15/23 i am dealing with them now, you cant understand them, giving me the run around as we speak and the contractor tried to charge me for the repairs, I gave him $100 service call and told me i owe him $750 to start smh. I'm finding my own contractor and we be filing a class action lawsuit

Yeah it only makes senses if your ac broke down or something

for my experience choice home warranty was a disaster at $1400 should of just gamble the money

Select home warranty is a big rip off you get them you pay their monthly payments every month then when something breaks or messes up and you call them they used to send people out and when the people would come look at your stuff and tell select home warranty how much it will cost to fix it they won’t pay so now you got companies that do not want to deal with select home Warranty so now they want you to find somebody to fix it the homeowner they want the homeowner to find somebody to fix it and you pay them and they will reimburse you select home warranty is a big rip off do not get select home warranty we need to do a civil suit against them a class action lawsuit against them

Got ripped off for 75.00 deductable from SHW. Lost 300.00 in food due to my frig going bad. the people they sent just came and took a little info took my money never saw them for 26 days. I hired another repair man who came out and fixed it So SHW denied my claim because they did not authorize repair. So I dropped them.

I would like to start a warranty company. Hell, I would have paid the $100 claims a On your garage, the $150 for a microwave, and $350 on the gas valve and still been $200 ahead

So they shouldn't offer the service and the states wouldn't allow these companies to work and open doors under lies and criminality. All those companies should be shut down and in jail.

Or their air conditioning system is old and failing so they get a home warranty. I feel bad for the customers that legitimately need service but the new homeowners that are given a policy, so the seller doesn't incur the cost of replacing the system is a scam.

I’m in the middle of this with them regarding my AC. It’s constant “wait 1-2 days” for decision or next step etc. there’s no urgency whatsoever. We’ll see if they even approve the work… i’m hopeful they will but after watching this video I’m less optimistic.

@@keving7619 what issues are u having with your AC?? Keep is updated Kevin, i'm curious to see if they cover your AC issue, i read the fine print and they do not cover freon leaks or anything to do with freon.

Yes, I'm very disappointed with that company and will never use it again. I also think a home warranty is a rip-off.
