If you talk to Emma, after a few cups of sake and talk to her again. Sekiro (Wolf) asked her who taught you how to use a blade. She does reply by saying I wouldn't want to fight people, but she does mention she'd like to kill a demon. She doesn't mention the type of Demon though, but as you forsake Lord Kuro, you then are shed some light on what demon she meant.....Shura which now Resides in Sekiro.

I'm super late but, it's a trial and error game, a memory game and most importantly a patience game. The easiest one when it comes to "souls like" games. You got this whoever is stuck at whatever point. Even the easiest bosses... by just simply trying again and again. Even I, have won battles in this game I myself deemed unwinnable by just taking a break, a breath maybe even a drink and coming back and trying again.

I dont think you can . Once you go one direction, you cant go back and redo it.

In budhism, an "Asura" ("Shura" and "Asura" are written the same way in Japanese) is a person who is incapable of living without violence, always filled with rage and unable to solve any problems peacefully. Throughout the game it's implied that a 'Shura' is a demonic state of being with an unending thirst for blood, even the blood of those he ones loved. Following the Iron Code means that Sekiro is then corrupted by this.

The two endings are bad ones lol

Staying loyal to Kuro will get you one of the three "good" endings depending on whether you go through the extra steps necessary to get the "Purification" ending or the "Return" ending. If you don't, you get the "Immortal Severance" ending, which is the default good ending and the one featured in this video.

If you're referring to the choice you make after beating Genichiro, that one will literally force you to pick the Iron Code option. The one that matters is the choice you make with Owl, which is featured in this video. Choosing to forsake Kuro will get you the bad ending.
