Seize The Grey at Highlander Training Center

We are proud to have had Preakness winner Seize The Grey with us for 90 days (October 28 - January 26) to prepare him for his three-year-old campaign.
Utilizing Highlander’s state-of-the-art facilities and good old-fashioned horsemanship, the Preakness winner enjoyed some R&R in one of our individual paddocks, utilized the in-ground AquaTreadmill in our Fitness & Therapy Center, and trained on our main training track, including several half-mile breezes.

This Horse needs a REST!! Letting greed take over sometimes turns out to be tragic for the Horse. After Belmont let the thing recover for 8-10weeks!!

I hope Sieze the Grey wins the Belmont. It would be nice for seasoned trainer D. WAYNE LUCAS who is in the sunset of his training career. GO SIEZE THE GREY!!!
In an interview after the Preakness, D. WAYNE LUKAS SAID THAT SIEZE THE GREY'S RACE RECOVERY WAS AMAZING. HE DID NOT SHOW ANY SIGNS OF WEAKNESS. BOUNCED RIGHT BACK.
