Watching footage of this fight in general, I love how much Japanese Yokai stuff is just crammed into the mechanics for it. It honestly makes the fight even better on top of NEST's always great banter.

Loving the flexing Hans images, worked well with that manly “anyone need goad?” XD

...I dont know why, but Choco's image makes it look like the character is pregnant. I think it's the color of the sweater?

I think it's a combination of the colour and the fact the pattern on the front of the sweater is leaning the opposite way of the rest of it.

Which kinda sucks when you're a super geared SMN which means you're very likely to kill your group because of that AOE. >_ Oh nvm, I see that he went SMN in later runs in the video. XD

Eh, SMN is fine. I'd be quite disappointed in healers that are unable to heal through Bahamut. Now if you pair up a summoner AND a blackmage in one party...x)

Happened to our SMN tonight, but our healers were also super geared so all he did was take aggro and kill himself haha (the BLM eventually got fed up with not being able to cast and switched to NIN though)

Sadly, monk is pretty much screwed by almost every fight in this expansion, and it took SE this long to lower True North´s CD to 90 seconds, which it still doesn´t fix the issue of a job relying entirely on positionals to get the best out of its damage...They can still dish out some very impressive damage, but they have to work twice as hard.

@@crystalgoddess4085 Indeed, but it only makes it all the more satisfying when you wind up outdpsing casters in fights that try really hard to get rid of your Greased Lightning and spin around with each mechanic to ruin your positionals...Hopefully Shadowbringers will be gentle in this aspect, or the possible reworks even.

@@xao_phan580 I tend to use casters more myself, but I do hope Shadowbringers is fairer on melee as well. I remember a few fights in Stormblood having no positionals at all, such as phase 2 of O4S, but I'm unsure if The Thunder God in Orbonne Monastery lacked positionals, since melee could technically get behind him.

@@crystalgoddess4085 Thunder God has no positionals, which l hope becomes the norm for Savage and Extreme fights if, and only if they plan on making them spin and move all over the place constantly because True North doesn't solve the issue. If the boss remains in one spot and doesn't turn as much, then is alright for it to have positionals, basically every extreme up to Seiryu was like that and it was fine.
