    I L 💕ve my Seint makeup!!! In my 60's now. I had stopped wearing makeup until I discovered Seint. It looks so natural, it's not greasy, doesn't dry my skin out, you don't even feel like you have anything on! Your tips have helped me so much and you look beautiful 💕

    I love this makeup. I spend more time doing my eyeshadows than I do the contour, bronzer, highlight and blush. I’m getting used to putting this on, because it’s definitely different from what I used to use. ❤️

    Thank you so much for this lesson/video! I'm a slightly oily gal in my late 50's. I use Supergoop Matte Screen as my sunscreen/primer. It's also silicone-free. I find if after applying all of my Seint face colors I "set" it with powder it stays all day. I use Seint's powder under my eyes though as it's so beautifully finely-milled. On the rest of my face I've had great luck with Juice Beauty Translucent Powder.

    I have very dark under eye circles. Is there any color that will help with that? I’m just getting started with Seint.

  • @facingthefifties

    Hi Roxanne! It depends on how dark they are. The color I match most people with is Mango. Then use a tiny bit of your overall highlight color to lighten. If they are really dark, you may need Papaya, then Mango. It's kind of like when you're painting a dark blue wall and you want it light yellow. If you go in with the light color directly over the dark, it won't cover. Sometimes you put a "primer;" or a "mid-tone" color in between coats so that the dark won't show through. Same principle if the circles are really dark. Using Papaya first, then Mango, then your normal color will help cover them. Please know I'm sharing the colors I recommend most. Obviously, I haven't seen your photo, but hopefully this helps!

    Can I use a color corrector and main highlight and get a light coverage, not medium coverage?

  • @facingthefifties

    @facingthefifties

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Bonnie, great question! Yes, you can. A couple of tips come to mind....first, depending on the size of the area you're color correcting, you could use the smudge brush to apply the color corrector. The reason it works so well is that it is pretty dense and really buffs the color into the skin. Then, for the lightest coverage, you can use the Blend brush for your main highlight. Thanks for watching!

    Could you give some tips on removing Seint? I normally use Aveeno Pos Radiating Skin Brightening Daily Scrub before bed to gently exfoliate before using skincare. I have used it and tried even with washcloth and still the makeup is on my face. I use the minimum amount of makeup so thats not the issue. Only thing that removes it is the Garnier Micellar cleansing water i use for my brushes. I have very sensitive skin. Any recommendations other than a Seint product. Thank you!

    Hi! It might be helpful to try a cleansing oil or balm. I know there are great ones from Clinique. I have also used the one from Drunk Elephant and it's great....but there's no need to spend that much. Clinique has their "Take off the Day" line that I would recommend. I also have sensitive skin and have never had any trouble with it. There are probably some drug store options, as well. I just haven't used any to be able to recommend them. Thanks for the question!

    Hey there! I know this is an old post... but YES the clinique makeup removing balm is fantastic... but them being 1. Pricey and 2. Not cruelty free ....I recommend a product called Albolene! Can pick up at Walgreens, Amazon etc. So amazing melts like a balm, also don't have to rinse with water... just remove access. Nothing to irritate or cause any skin issues!! Was actually told to switch to this 2 months in to my 1st pregnancy! I had a bad hormonal reaction to my usual makeup or skin care products 1 but switching to this and even was recommended to add a small layer on my face to use as a moisturizer. My bad reactivate created like raw alligator scaly skin...it was bad! Needless to say 1 month later,...it was all healed in time for our wedding!! 😊

    I have really dark circle under my eyes and have tried quite a bit to filter or cover them but I'm still seeing a bit of the blue especially when I put my glasses on. Could you offer some more suggestions? I have tried frenchie, mango, and papaya with my highlight shade but that doesn't do it. Then I went to demi and I like that better but it seems filtered until I step back or put my glasses on and then it shows up more than I would like. I add more and it seems better again. It looks so much better but I'm not sure if I am having unrealistic expectation that all the blue will filter out?

  • @facingthefifties

    @facingthefifties

    Hi Stephanie! Dark circles can definitely be challenging. When you say you can still see the blue, are you looking straight on at your face, or are you tilting your head down? That may seem like a weird question, but many people have a tendency to tilt their head down to see if the darkness is covered, and they will still see darkness. Well, pretty much anyone will see darkness by doing that....so make sure you're looking straight on. You totally may be, but I've run into this before, so I wanted to share. It sounds like you've tried all of the "usual suspects" as I call them, ha! I know you said you've tried Frenchie, Mango, and Papaya with your highlight shade...Do you mean you've tried them individually under your highlight? The reason I ask, is that there is a technique to use Papaya, then Mango on top of that, then your highlight. I've had several clients do this "stair step" technique to cover really dark circles. I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of Demi. I use it a little for dark areas on the face, but haven't had a ton of luck under the eyes. There are actually a couple of non-Seint products that I like under the eyes and they give AMAZING coverage. One is the Jane Iredale Enlighten Plus Under-eye concealer (not the Circle/Delete). The Enlighten Plus comes in a little "pump" with a silver tip. The other one that gives me amazing coverage is the Tarte Creaseless Undereye Concealer. You definitely need to use the tiniest amount with each, but they work really well for me.
