I dont miss how uncertain everything felt and how clueless I was to what was important, but I guess thats just part of growing up. My life now is much more quieter, and tbh kinda lonely. I still have many friends but I dont see them that much or it's just not the same anymore.

Did you want to tell your boss to take his job and shove it up how ass etc? Or was it more of a cordial “I appreciate everything you have taught me, blah blah blah but it’s time I move on”? Because the first is so much more satisfying! I was able to do it once... told my boss to “ go f*** yourself” and walked out. Then went back the next day as if nothing happened. The owner let me go in the end for reasons or “Irreconcilable differences” got a severance pay and a letter of recommendation for my next job, but to be honest i had been there at least 4 years, was very good employee most of the time and top is sales, so made them $$$$. Even ended up giving the manager that “went to ****k herself” a tearful hug goodbye, after all I can pretty much work for Satan himself and not even bat a lash compared to her. I strongly believe everyone should experience and borderline abusive boss, so you are able to just how bad it can be out there.

Time flies but memories don't.. So much younger then and now.. ❤

This might be the first ever comment I have done on KZread and have been using this platform for more than 10 years. I am currently going through a hard time, my girlfriend of 2 and bit years and I broke up, I live 5000 miles away from my parents and brothers whom I haven't seen since last Christmas and I have had a mental block on crying for the last 5 years. I just don't know how to anymore and I feel like all I need is a good cry, to let this all out. But when this song came on at random on the KZread playlist, I don't know how to explain the sense of complete and utter relief and okness that I feel. Everything is going to be ok and this might be the first time in a while that I can actually feel that deep inside of me. I am not someone who shares their feelings and even less on a public forum like this but thank you Kygo for helping me open up! Your music has always been some of my favourite but today it has hit me on a completely different level.

I saw this live and it was very meaningful

To this day I still think this is Kygos best track. I am impressed that he did this at the very beginning of his career, and presumably using mostly Logic stock plugins. This sound was so new when this came out, and the track is really atmospheric and minimalist, but still interesting and constantly driving things forward.

I always listen to that song in my car when i'm driving to no destination in the midnight .. words can not describe the feel

I was at a lounge when this suddenly played. I stopped talking with my friends, rushed to the barman and asked "what is this song in your playlist?!" From that moment on I knew Kygo would get big. It's as if he invented a new sound or at the very least brought it to mainstream attention.
