Is your 24 hour subdial hand red or white? I ask because the stock image on Seiko USA for the blue colorway shows the 24 hour subdial to be equipped with a red hand but all reviews I've seen show a white hand on the 24 hour subdial.

Thanks for showing of this piece. What a nice affordable watch. I think this looks good with a suit as well as in a more leisurely setting. You got my sub.

This is a great looking watch and looks like it’ll be a big seller. However, I think Seiko would have another hit on their hands if they did a reissue of a watch that actually looked like the original Speedtimer with the 6139 movement. A Pogue reissue would be a monster seller, IMO.

I got mine today, it is amazing, same movement as in the Sumo quartz solar. It is smaller than I used to, but this is going to be my dress watch

Is it much smaller than a skx007? I want to buy it for the same purpose. Great looking dress watch. And it's solar so you can wear it from time to time and doesn't need to think about setting the date or winding it

Its a little smaller than the SKX but being a chrono, it still has a decent size to it, despite the 39mm or so.

The subdials are glossy black so maybe it's reflecting the AR coating.

Just got. Prospex Samurai diver and a nice Flighty. Watches are awesome but bracelets are crap, especially on the Flighty. How’s the bracelet on this Chrono?

They're black and shiny but with the AR coating they give off a blue tint.

As I anticipated, the secondary market is already heating up on this piece. There's currently 1 US seller asking $1600, (and don't forget to add the $10 for shipping)--completely bonkers

I wouldn't say the dial is ruined but the date window favoring the 4 o'clock index is irritating as well as the depth of the date wheel.

The design is perfect. The solar quartz is a deal breaker at over $600. Give us an automatic...

I love it but $650 is too steep for what you're getting. I picked up the SZSB012 from Amazon flash sale for $200. And I have to say. I paid fair price. The retail of $550 is absurd. I really need to get my hands on this. I value this chrono at around $350-450 tho.

If this is a Daytona homage, the SKX is a Submariner ripoff. Stop associating everything to Rolex, especially when it's clearly not the case. Is a red car a Ferrari ripoff? This is the modern reinterpretation of the 7A28/38 and 6139 series, full stop. People will kill for this watch in 10-20 years, as seen with the aforementioned models. The watch is truly beautiful. I'm surprised someone running a watch channel has an opinion that would be common amongst people that are clueless about watches.
