I own #007997, for me an absolute keeper. It stays close to the original with a better movement and better water resistance (now 100 meters vs 70 meters in the past).

I have it and I think is really special. If you don't like the bracelet is very easy to choose another because of the shape of the endlinks.

It's a keeper

For a small wrister like me there is a substantial difference in the wearing experience between the stpk17, which is only 43 mm long with a lugless design and curved down case shape, and the citizen tzuyoza with its unarticulated end links. In terms of comfort, to me, there's no competition: the seiko wins easily.

I don't think it's fair to compare this to the other watches. This has a very specific look which the others don't have, and that's likely the reason someone would buy it.

But if you put in sapphire better movement and better bracelet it no longer staying true to the original intent of the original watch. That’s what makes this watch special a very close reproduction of the original watch…..which is great basic reliable watch that everyone can afford.

Please can that glas likely be a scratch. And if it can't in Seiko, they can put newe and price will not bee crayzi . Cos I hate that scratch of glass.

How to size this watch ?

I have it and I'm thinking about buying a black rubber strap for it.

Hello. Mine varies no more than plus two seconds a day. I definitively purchased two optional leather straps and the watch has become one of my favorites! One is a dark red rally type; the other one is also automobile oriented, black, red-threaded. It's absolutely comfortable. Whether you should keep it, I can't tell. I'm in my early fifties; I'm already an original no non-sense 1971 model. So this watch and I immediately made click. There's a proper time for things and persons to naturally "click". I spent more years in the 20th century than I've spent in this. I learned to tell the time with those watches and clocks. Greetings.

Limited to exactly the number of them Seiko can sell.

I would look into putting it on a beads of rice bracelet or something similar, but then that's adding another €50+ onto the effective cost of the watch so may be not worth it in the end

I can hear it just fine.

I both it and i hawe wear it hor 2 weaks and watc is ok but after i put i away and put my Omega ln my wrist and i hew newer nead too put Seiko retro on my wrist . Its ok but i like cwality watches and i try and use Milanese strap and watch is more than ok but is not my cup of tea i like Swiss watches and for 450€ there is no coality in that watch cos my chiper watch cost 1,000€ ,that omega 3,000€ but all of that watches i haee for heu ares maybe omoste a decade . And Seiko is for somelne who like to wear a wotch and care or for some who is entering wach hobby.
