    That is not a pogue reissue. It's a quartz solar speedtimer in the colors of a pogue.

    it's a reimagination, I am hoping they pull a willard/62Mas and do a premium version of this watch in mechanical chronograph, they got the tech they just need to engineer new tooling machine for a 70s style case and adjust the 8R mechanical chronograph to have the date wheel at the 3 o'clock and only have a single subdial at the 6 o'clock. it's allot of money to invest but there is allot of pogues they could bring back, yellow, blue black and grey. let's hope they do it

    Same. The og is cool, but what are the chances it isn't frankensteined at this point. I wish the dials on the new one followed the pattern of the og. Oh well.

    @@widviewer I wonder if they'll do a yellow chapter ring version of this watch too historically speaking this sbdl117 is a reimagination of the aussie pogue (yellow dial and black chapter ring) imo the mechanical chronograph 6139 was one of their best technological watches with the vertical clutch chronograph mechanism

    That’s just a tribute. Not for me this time, a shame they just re released the case for another Seiko 5. This is a kind of lazy move. Seiko fan though but disappointed one…

    Yeah, Seiko did a great job on that reissue Captain Willard. I am skeptical to pulling the trigger on this. I am thinking they will do a proper mechanical Pogue next year. (Spring drive Pogue? Take my money). This version is just an SSC911 with a gold face and a pepsi bezel. I still admire it.
