Excellent video KT! I continue to enjoy your format the most! My cards are heavier into katana, BM combos, and so picking up Seifer, albeit meta, wouldn't be as supported in my teams. A skip for me, but he looks like a great unit for those who can support him! I'll be picking up that new wind mage though when she comes! lol

Seifer is great, and a long range barrier break is rare and very powerful. That said, he doesn't slot in with the next meta-shifting unit (the new wind mage) as well as others, so he can be skipped. Personally, I will pull him because I already have great VCs for sword warrior.

Man, you’re making me wanna go for him 😂 I mean, I _do_ have AC Cloud and SJeume maxed out with LAstrius being the weakest of the trio, I _am_ having trouble with Seph and / or Gilgamesh teams more often than not, and I have a soft spot for FF8 as my first ever FF while I’m not particularly saving for anything atm 😂😮‍💨

Yeah Seifer kinda grew on me over time, he has so much offensive utilities. Works very well with great sword and a definite upgrade over A2 & Astrius. The rerun lasts more than 30 days, you will have time to decide. Shurecca is wrecking everything in her way, and also works well with great sword. You won’t be disappointed with either one of them.

Thanks for the video, great as always! I am on the fence... My main units are Jeume, Mont and Gilga and Seifer does not seem to be an optimal third for any 2 of these 3. And since vis is limited, I like more the idea of going for Shurecca+Gilga+Jeume/Mont team. What do you think?

Is luck really affect evasion and accu?? I removed the luck truststones and luck vision card but nothing change at those stats, stats increased by luck become hidden effect??

Yes, luck stat affects evasion rate, accuracy rate & crit evasion rate. And yes, the percentage rates are hidden. Evasion,accuracy & crit evade stats (what you see on the screen) are different from in-game evasion, accuracy & crit evade rate. These rates are in percentages calculated by the game. Evasion rate: - Luck stat - Evade stat - Agility stat Accuracy rate: - Luck stat - Dex stat - Accuracy stat This is the tool I use to check my accuracy & evasion rate: app.calconic.com/public/calculator/60cb7d9aadc99d001f1e1b54?layouts=true

What are your thoughts on Warrior Evade + Addison Rae? She shares the HLucioVC and can bestow Courage+Null Sure Hit on her J25

That should work to a certain degree. The only concern I have is not enough damage output before null sure hit runs.

I am running AC Cloud, and S Jeume as my main two units. I have AC Sephiroth at 107. Is Seifer a better pick over Sephiroth? I am either going to stick with Sephiroth, pull for Seifer, or wait for Astrius to return. My VCs currently support Astrius more over the other two.

Seifer works very well with Cloud & S Jeume, just like the first sample team in the video. There isn’t much VC synergy between great sword & Sephiroth. Astrius likely will comeback when thy announce the winning vote getters of reincarnation fest.

@shakhnovsky8076 Seifer is the better choice, he is a better Astrius. The best things about Astrius are long range barrier break & courage removal. Seifer can remove barrier from afar & remove re-raise plus healing power down. He is also a next gen unit with better stats and longer duration buffs. Try to sub in some generic VCs

Great sword & black mage: Hoth’s VC - 18% agility AC Tifa’s VC - 42% Luck & 12% agility Ice Oldoa’s VC - 30% HP & 16 magic wide guard Not having courage or re-raise is Seifer’s weakness. Cloud AC has courage, I like to put those 2 together with S Jeume or UR Fina/Lucielle. Lucielle can give Seifer re-raise, she is a great fit with him.

Is his VC really worth it? Sure u get a lot man eater but everyone getting aoe res pen and don't event mention slash res pen plus the mastery is only for quest

Very valid points. The reason I like this VC is because it supports 2 of the 3 sword groups. Yes, every new unit has either AOE pen or shreds but it is still good to have. Something is still better than nothing. With the direction they are going, teams will need AOE res, wide guard, unit res, agility and debuff weakening VCs at the same time. This is also how they are going milk us with guild battle reserves system. We can already do this to an extent with 3-unit knight teams, Melnia’s card - agility & unit res Seifer’s card - AOE res Lucielle’s card - Phy wide guard Debuff weakening cards will play a bigger role to help against AOE & unit res shreds.

Please do a showcase videos for Lotus Mage Fina and Veritas of the Frost. They will be released on July 30. It’s in the news for GL. Thanks in advance.

Shurecca is destroying everything including Gilgamesh…. I am a huge fan of the VA too. He voiced my favorite character from the super robot wars series (my favorite game series of all times).
