    Thanks for checking out the video! I've had a lot of fun getting to know the Segway Snarler 570. It's a fun mid size ATV and does great in tight forest trails. I hope this review gives you a better feel for this machine and if you are considering trying one out I'd suggest you give it a shot. I've read a few negative comments on here, I just wanted to say myself and 4 of my mates all bought the Snarler at the same time. We all love them and have not experienced any major issues. The biggest issue in the UK is getting parts and accessories, this however is something all brands are currently experiencing. For the price they are awesome!

    I’ll repost this response I made to another similar comment because I feel it applies: Ya, that’s the problem with these newer brands trying to break into the market. They haven’t built up the parts inventory. They don’t have an established dealer network. There is not significant aftermarket support. They get you hooked with a slightly lower purchase price but then you are left hanging. This isn’t a hit at Segway, it’s just the reality of being new to a highly competitive market, especially during such crazy times with supply chain issues all over. Established aftermarket brands can barely keep up with the popular and established machines in the market, they aren’t going to shift production capacity to a small brand that doesn’t even have a 1% market share at this time. All newer brands have had similar struggles, it takes time to develop a support network and build brand loyalty. It takes time to R&D a product line. Look at the struggles CF Moto had in this department and arguably still has and all the other “B” and “C” level brands (for lack of better terms) are constantly struggling with this. When you buy from a big established brand like Polaris, Can-Am, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, etc… you are paying for the established network and reputation. You are guaranteed a certain level of support and product availability you can’t possibly expect with a new to market brand. I know this may negatively push the buttons of a company like Segway Powersports but it’s just a cold hard fact. You can’t deny that. The other brands have 40+ years of experience under their belts and they built this market segment. You need to acknowledge this and give credit where credit is due. Did Segway Powersports bring a good product to the table? Heck ya, for a first generation machine I feel they did well. I pride myself on real world and unbiased reviews and the points I touch on are big things to consider when choosing a machine.

    Thanks! They worked well for what they are. Full disclosure, I would never purchase one of these over a Can-Am or Polaris ATV. That's not to say these are bad but I feel the aftermarket support is lacking and so is the dealer network and it will take quite some time for that to catch up. The way I treat a machine, I need a reliable parts network to keep me going. We will see how these machines hold together in the long run. Overall, when manufacturers compete, consumers win.

    1 Year of ownership update.. 2021 Segway Snarler AT6SX Canada 3900km -All 4 wheel bearings are shot, (not sealed bearings any water over the hub will ruin them. They suggest taking the whole hub off every 800km and greasing them with an EZ greaser tool. Foolish service amount) -Font Differential blew apart (I may have used 4wd 5-6 times in the full year of ownership and always came to a full stop) -Rear Diff seals leak -Oil pressure sensor failed(known warranty fix) -Exhaust cracked (known issue but for some reason not getting covered under warranty) -CVT Recall for clunky starts and disengaging going down hills (sketchy) Bike has been serviced relentlessly, I did the break in service, one 1000km after that, another one before a NFLD trip and now it's been at the shop ever since the NFLD trip since Sept 17th 2022. So i've had it for 11 months, the last 4 it's been at the shop. Avoid these things get a yamaha, honda or kawasaki..

    Hey Frasered, great feedback. Thanks for sharing your experience. Sorry to hear about the issues you’re having. As mentioned in the video, the true test for any machine is how it holds up in the long run. Something we couldn’t really address in a video like this. Issues are one thing when they are being dealt with efficiently and professionally by a dealership. I don’t think there is anything more frustrating then having your machine at a dealership for an extended period of time with no results. I’ve heard similar stories to yours now from a few people. From what I’ve heard the exhaust and oil pressure sensor issues are very common. It’s upsetting to hear they aren’t dealing with them quickly under warranty. All the other issues sound like a headache too. I hope you get things sorted and Segway Canada stands behind their product. Let us know how things play out.

    I just went and viewed the whole line up at my local segway dealer, I'm blown away, CFmoto prices, better quality then Polaris (in my opinion) they also offer lifts, you can make it wider and bigger tires, the 570 handles it. And the comfort! Wow the comfort... also the extra stuff like Bluetooth connection with you phone, in case you lost you key, or need to see where the kids are, or God forbid your bike got stolen, open the app, find it! Also had a chance to sit in the Villain1000 side by side and again I'm blown away, these things are awesome

    You would still choose Polaris 570 Touring and not Snarler? Are only aftermarket parts and service the difference?

  • @AdrenalineJunkieProd

    @AdrenalineJunkieProd

    2 жыл бұрын

    I feel that those are big areas of ownership. Also the Polaris platforms are tried and tested. This is a new machine, there is always some risk. Like I stated in the video I do feel the Snarler is a good machine. I do feel the new can-am 570 has more power and better clutching. I’d say the same about the Polaris overall. I don’t think buying a Snarler is a bad idea. It has a lot to do with what you expect out of it and how you plan on using it. I’m incredibly hard on my machines and need a reliable supply chain for parts. To me that’s important but the price point of the Segway is nice. The aftermarket is starting to develop for these machines. I do think of Segway keeps pushing and learning from any growing pains they have some good potential here. I was really happy with this thing, especially factoring in it’s a first generation platform. I’m just trying to be realistic and grounded in my feedback. To make a true evaluation we need time. We need to see how the machines hold together after 2 or 3 years. How the brand stands behind their product and how they address any issues.

    I mean… let’s be honest here guys, it’s just enough tube to get away with calling it a “bumper” but for a stock offering it beats nothing. I agree it doesn’t add much protection but I’m guessing the aftermarket will look after that. If you need more protection and a bigger bumper they will be available in the near future. Let’s keep in mind this is the first model year on a completely new platform. With that being said they did well and the price point is attractive.
