    i have had around 14,000 km on it still rides like a dream with a few bits of problems even tho i abuse it so much definatly the best scooter its worth buying you need reliability everyday but you dont need speed everyday

    I agree with this video, I bodybuild so the 40kb thing doesn't bother me is all. I am a door to door salesperson and the scooter is solid reliable etc. Exactly what 90 percent of people are looking for. Love it I have 2 in fact.

    Picked up one cheap recently,it’s my favourite commuter,city roads are 20-30 max I get 19 out of it even took my girlfriend to work on it great workhorse

    You just need to adjust your brake cable. After doing that the braking improves significantly.

    Just squeeze the spring and tighten. You can use your fingers.

    The first initial squeeze is the E brakes and when squeeze all the way down is the manual brakes. So if you have regen up high it will help make it so you don't need manual brakes as much. I have my regen on medium because I just slow down before I brake so it will last longer.

    The front brake is fairly easy to adjust to get more bite out of it. Takes a little getting use to so exercise caution once you’ve adjusted it.

    There are definitely locks but it’s not as easy as locking a bike up

    they make scooter locks but personally I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving it locked up with one...at least in the city we live in haha

    For slightly higher price check out Vsett 8! Full suspension, NFC locking, twice as powerful motor etc.

    30kmh is awesome, here it's locked to 20kmh, which is still okay for the city. But I would love to go a little bit faster.

    I hate that the fender is so flimsy. I cracked it just by picking up the scooter and carrying it. So I just always keep it open and carry it that way.

    Does not 1 person ride a scooter in tbe rain or wet climate? I live in seattle and i would like to know how a scooter will handle a rainy climate??

    @@kail4643 It is Rain RESISTANT... LIGHT rain.. But you still risk getting rain in either or both the batttery charger port and/or (more likely) the control panel. I've seen so many video's where those who ride even in LIGHT mist and they opened the control panel on the handles bar area only to discover rust and corrosion forming and suspected that the moisture came thru the push button...

    I bought the same scooter but can't get a straight answer on the tire pressure. The manual says 32 to 37 psi. On the tire it says 55 psi. I called Segway and they told me 45 to 55. I sent them an email and they said 32 to 37. Who's right?

    32-37 is for a more comfortable ride, but you sacrifice acceleration and top speed I inflated my wheels to about 53 and its not as smooth over bumps my battery consumption has gone down as my acceleration has gone up

    I bought one and quickly returned it because I didn’t like the fact that in order to reach the level 3 speed setting it required me to download an app then upload firmware to the scooter. Why can’t Segway make this scooter fully ready to ride out of the box??

    I hated tire changes. If it had been a two piece tire I would have kept mine. Otherwise a tank of a scooter.

    @@sneakypetesproductreviews Absolute PIA. I took mine in to an electric bike dealership who used to sell Segways and he took pity on me. Lol. It was $40 to get it changed but worth my peace of mind.
