What a beautiful bowl - another masterpiece from you, Elias! BTW: Richard Corwin is right again - you'll probably never get tired to produce masterpieces as well as we like to watch (and own if we have the money) them coming to existence or in our own rooms at home.

I used to work part-time in an antique repair/restore business, and when large oak tables came into the shop, the owner usually had us fill in the grain with a sealer so the tops would look like glass after the surface was prepared and then sanded to eliminate even the slightest hint of grain as best we could. Might this be a step you would consider to get similar results? Not casting aspersions by any means, but as I watched the bowl slowly turn, I could see the grain in the segments. Just a thought. Well done!

Thanks for the comment! Most of my bowls are sealed with sanding sealer and sanding paste but I'm not a big fan of high gloss finishes and I almost never try to eliminate all grain because then I don't see the point of making it out of wood
