The intro makes me realize why these arcades looked so big when I played them and not so much now. Lol.

I just picked up a super hang like yours last week. I wish my plastics weren't all yellowed, the white looks great! I loved this game when I was your sons age, too bad I'm not as good at it as he is! Haha

You are absolutely correct on the quarter trickling down the chamber noise. I didn't realize how much I missed that until you said it. I'm forty, so we are most likely from the same era.

This is a really really really great catch you got there 🏍 The fact that it still attracts the youth proves how great it was I think its timeless success is due to this extreme vivacity, this is one of the fastest and most reactive game of all times.

Did you ever find a bezel replacement. Why do so many of these have missing bezels? I’m looking for one as well

I had a guy who had some. He accidentally damaged them but I was still willing to buy it. He ignored all my requests and that was the end of that. But you're right so many of these are missing and I have no clue as to why. Would be nice to eventually find one

I will keep an eye on eBay for the turbo button. This game is pretty much impossible without it. You have to reach top speed and then your turbo will be available for use

And today's market prices can vary tremendously. I usually like to buy mine broken and repair them myself. You can potentially get great deals for their not working. Of course I repair them myself and save a bundle

@@kazelasarcade not sure if you can do it on the arcade cab , you can do some research . . I play it on ps3 , they sold it in game store and you can do saves anywhere and then on the mame version there are all kinds of cheats . invincibility , turbo at all times etc.,

Classic games are not made for flatscreens.

Super hang on is hard if you play it on mame.

If you are playing the arcade version on MAME it's probably impossible. You would need a rotating control and I don't think the trackball would be good enough. The Sega Genesis had a version of super hang on that would play just fine I'm sure

You can just play if you use the Limited Edition version, its an easier version one originated the Sega Genesis port. The original arcade sitdown/upright is really hard. Besides the Arcade the best version is on Nintendo 3DS, called "3D Super Hang-On".
