Absolutely true🤘 I've been playing arcade and some ds games. Good dpad is essential for many platforms

I'm glad you got it. If only, they can make one with a Snapdragon Gen 2. I'd be in heaven. Well, there are other arcade layout handhelds but not like this. The X20 mini player has decent controls but the emulations was pretty bad.

As a diehard Sega fan who still plays a lot of Sega games on different consoles and emulators. This is my dream handheld console. I am not that interested in steamdeck etc. Because this is like how I dreamt Gamegear would be back when I was a kid but could not get my hands on one. When I could afford one I saw how underpowered it was. This is perfection.

Really been loving my arc since I got it, it plays most of the games I want to play pretty darn well; and I love the d-pad, it's phenomenal. Just wish the face buttons were more accurate to the saturn controller, with a more pronounced indentation and curvature. Hopefully they stick with this form factor, upgrade the hardware, add at least 1 analog stick and some analog triggers and it's perfect.

If they decide to upgrade its chip set they should add an analog stick to go with it. But I mostly play fighting games on handheld so this is fine. Btw try these android games with d-pad support Smash the Battle, Lode runner 1 by Nexon (Theres an offline mod), and Retro City Rampage.

Ok i have to take you to task...the ps vita is the only sony device with a real dpad. Whats on the psp and for that matter all sonys controllers is 4 buttons
