The reason why PlayStation discs didn't had warnings is their file system. Unlike UDF/CDFS which Sega used that normal CDs used, Sony used a proprietary file system which is not recognizable by CD Players, meaning there's no need to put a warning message on a disc like that.

Actually PS1 uses standard CD data format and can easily be played on a PC based emulator. The only proprietary component is the track wobble that authenticates the game to the console. Some games do have CD audio but most games use either synthesized or compressed music to save space. A game publisher could add a warning track if there was space to spare.

It might have to do with the capability of the CD Player itself. Since older CD Player mistook Sega CD disc as an ordinary audio CD, not to mention there is indeed a real CD Audio track inside, it's most likely to be sent away to the DAC unchecked. Thus, DAC translates everything inside the disc as a same thing (PCM Stereo, 44,1 kHz sampling rate, 16-bit bit depth), unfortunately that includes the game data as well. Can't say about the audio level, but I assume it exceeds the acceptable audio level for CD Player.

nice vid, imo i think on screen text or a real voice would sound better just my opinion

Its the sega cd game track 1 which is the game data.... But the thing is that maybe cd players or hi-fi players build after the 90' have that track silenced but those that are made brefore or during 90' Well.... We can pay respects to your speakers.

This is the reason why sega discontinued the sega cd and stop making consoles
