That was precious. I hope Mamma got some presents too!! Loved Ivy's reaction opening her gift, but the best was Spurgeon's reaction when Ben said "you have to eat your bowl of Spinach first" before getting some chips. LOL I bet 4 little ones slept very well that night. Merry Christmas Seewalds!

I love your little children. They are so sweet and caring for each other. Ben and Jessa you have done a great job teaching manners, Bible stories and songs. So cute to hear Ivy blurt out her songs loud and clear. Henry singing to Fern was absolutely adoreable, a grown up song for a little boy who sang it perfectly. Spurgeon is so sweet. I wish my big brother was like him.

Same here. I never had children and close to 60 yrs old. So it is a joy to watch and feel a part of the celebration. I like the small gathering better than larger ones. Even tho the likes were fun it was nice being with a group of 5 or less.

We spread gifts out as much as we can. We get each of the girls like 3 gifts(I have two girls 4 and 6) and Santa brings the most but, we make sure to watch each kid open each gift. The thing they want most always comes from Santa. Also, your family is adorable.
