Seether's music relates well to people with depression, yet its reassuring and soothing. Instead of making you feel more sad, you feel better.

@Jared Bozarth. Well Shaun never did hard drugs like Heroin, where Layne and Kurt did. Shaun’s drug was booze, Amy Lee who dated Shaun basically told everyone that Shaun was a Drunk on the song Call Me When You’re Sober, which wasn’t that big of a secret because even in this song he references his alcohol problem he had. It’s much easier to get sober from booze than it is Heroin, Kurt and especially Layne were frequent users of Heroin

I had to make the hardest decision of my life this week. After 10 years, I had to admit to myself that the love of my life and I were only doing each other harm. We wanted the best for each other and still weren't compatible. Life is brutal, unfair and merciless. In the lonely moments, I'm always drawn back to Seether and this album. It sounds exactly how I feel. Through crisis comes change. Somehow it will go on.
