SEEN IN BLACK AND WHITE
There’s so much beauty to be found. It’s in plain sight, and all around. It can be big, or it can be small. It can be short, or stand real tall. It can be any color or shade. Some beauty is natural, and some is man-made. Some beauty can mystify. Some can bring a tear to an eye. Some beauty fades real fast. Some beauty will forever last. Some beauty is only skin deep. And some beauty we see when we sleep. Some beauty shines really bright. And some beauty is seen in black and white. But what if we could only see in black and white? No colors bold vivid or bright. Only fragrant flowers to ignite our senses. Only Black vines growing on pure white fences. No need for paint to cover up flaws. We’d all be living within pearly white walls. Unending contrast between light and dark, shiny and pale. Everything around us in grayscale. Only monochrome shadows to fill the void of colorful hues. No more pinks or purples or blues. If we could only see in black and white would it get darker at night? Could we still see our shadow in the sunlight? If there were no different colors of skin. Would we all be accepted then? Maybe seeing in black and white wouldn't be so bad after all. Then again, we’d probably be unaccepted for being too short or too tall. It seems some people already only see in black and white. No matter how much beauty is in plain sight.. ✝️🖤🤍💙💛💚🤎💜🧡♥️✝️
