I was born in India, raised here for 19 years. I am an Indian Citizen, But my forefathers, my father, my mother all are nepalese. I go through lot of descrimination, just because I am Nepalese. I get categorised in being easy, because there are many sex workers in India who come from Nepal. I get taunts like we all are here to sell momos, and work as low class people. And often people joke about my father being a watchman, or a driver, which is not true. But does that define me? No. I am an individual, Each one of us id individual, we all are same, we all are humans. The nationality is just a mere fact that I belong to a certain country, but does that mean I eat, walk or bleed different? NO. Rise above hate. Judge a person, on how he treats you. Not from where he belongs.

Ok the way I understand and define all these terms are as follows.. Gorkha: a district in Nepal. Gorkhali: people from gorkha or who live in gorkha.. Gurkha: Nepalese people serving as a soldier in gurkha regiment in Britain, India and some other parts of the world.. I'm a American soldier from Nepal but I don't call myself as an American Gurkha because there is no Gurkha regiment here.. the way she said all the Indians are Gurkha and bla bla.. I just have a question in my mind.. what have u done to prove urself as a Gurkha? And u don't need to be so proud to be an Indian coz u guys used to be slaves of Britain once.. whereas we have never been captured yet and are always independent.. jai Nepal..
