Enjoyed your post on The Prom. I’m obsessed with this show. The critical word is JOY. You are so entertained during the show - with laughter and tears and laughter again - and walk out with so much joy. There really aren’t many shows like that. Honestly, the Best Leading Actress category is SO crazy this year! I really want Stephanie J Block to win, because she just needs one and it blows my mind that she has not won already, but Eva Noblezada, Kelli O’Hara, Caitlin Kinnunen and Beth Leavel being in the same category really makes it unpredictable. I’m very excited especially for that!

The only show from Casey i have seen is Aladdin. I have been wanting to see the Prom for over a year. I am still bitterly surprised it closed.

Honestly thank you for the tip on gold star, because omg tickets to broadway shows are soooo expensive I wanted to go see mean girls with a friend of mine in February and it was $150 dollars per a seat for a two o’clock performance and the seats wherent even that good

kinda funny story. I saw Angie Schworer in a production of Mamma Mia in 2018 in North Carolina. She was Tanya and she was amazing! I was a little surprised when I started listening to this show and realized she was in it!

One of my favourite shows and I never got to see it before it left Broadway :( Hopefully I can see it on tour but I'm from Europe so that's gonna be hard...

I loved The Prom. It’s a shame it opened in the same season as Hadestown. Hadestown is amazing though. Caught it twice in one weekend and am going my back in July. Curious to hear your thoughts.

I really want this show to come to the netherlands (because that’s where I live), also I just really want to see Pia Douwes as Deedee (are there more Dutch (or german) members of the theatre thursday fam who agree that she would be amazing?)

I'm going to NYC with my theatre group on the 6th. We're going to see Come Frome Away and Beautiful. Got any tips on how to survive in the big city?
