Seeing My Family After 2.5 Years of Travel
After 2 1/2 years of travelling we are finally back home to see our family and this time it's back to Belgium to see Silke's family. Her dad and brother came to the bus station to meet us and drove us back home to see the rest of the family. For Silke this was definitely an emotional reunion especially as her little brother and sister are between 10-13 and at this age they are changing so much and so quickly. So after 2.5 years they have definitely changed a lot.
Full-time travel is amazing and we really wouldn't choose any other way of life but one of the hardest parts is not seeing our family for long periods of time and this was the longest time that either of us have spent away from our families.

i always wondered how flixbus crossed the channel - do you just sit on the bus on that little train the whole way? idk if that's too claustrophobic for me!

Haha yeah, you have to stay in the bus during the 30 minutes but you don’t even realise that you are under the water, it goes so fast! 😃

I think we said in the video that it was £18 per person, per bus so £36 from Glasgow to Belgium! 😁
