Disappointing podcast Ranveer. Moment she said other side doesn't have budget, its ridiculous and big lie. They get funded hugely if not inside but also outside sources. She is not informed of everything. For god sake, its pathetic. Hope not everyone follows her, misleading people. And another big misleading thing about social media, elections are not won/lost on social media. Kuch bhi yaar, ground work and track record of course matters. This is pure arrogance on her part. This is the problem of new generation. Not being rude to you Ranveer, but please dont give platform to such individuals. Your channel is hugely followed. Am not saying coz of some bias for current govt or anything. You also have interviewed many esteemed gentlemen/ladies from all sides before like Supriya ji Sule, etc, we dont have issue with it. Just this misleading info is dangerous.

Agree. BJP was able to pull off Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and to some limit Rajasthan all because of their groundwork. Listen to Yashwant Deshmukh how BJP was able to win MP with big numbers all because BJP's Cadre was able to pull out its voters from the homes to booths. Social media does create hype but ultimately the groundwork system helps that hype to translate in votes. Suggestion to Ranveer if you really want to understand about the dynamics of voting in India bring guests like Rahul Verma, Sanjay of CSDS Pradeep Gupta, Prashant Kishor, Yashwant Deshmukh etc. Politics is still majorly fought like old school. BJP learnt that in 2004. Congress is catching up after 2019.

As a south Indian, i can confirm that she is completely wrong about us. High literacy does'nt mean everyone is smart here. People here dont fight based on religion because they are too busy fighting amongst themselves (Castes), They vote based on which party is paying them for voting :)

It's just that south gives importance to other things like castes for voting. So how would the comparison hold when she tried to explain one aspect and the ground reality is different. I feels like she got her knowledge from youtube only. And saying south is good and north is bad is just stupid. South india has industries bcz of geographical advantage and few "capitalist" schemes of states. Bjp is not winning in southern india is not bcz they are educated it is bcz of bjp doesn't have any ground there And Dravidian culture also played a major role. They dont want a north indian party to win in their area. I critise bjp in most part but her knowledge feels more like her point of view rather than fact. And bihar and up has become punching bag for everyone if they want to critise whole north india. They don't even know that these states didn't had bjp for most of the period there.

damn she was so wrong specially about that genz part, (being a 2005 born) i think most of the genz in the tier 1 cities know what is up in the politics. I agree they are proud of their culture and that's actually how it should be, but to my extent i think we are the first generation not to think about other caste people as enemies infact we freaking joke about the reservation thing. And other Genzs let me know if i'm wrong here, even an obc or SC/ST guy thinks that reservation on the basis of caste is pure bullshit and the only thing that should be there is the reservation based on economy
