Here's a good question. How did they NOT have a scene where Chucky tries to fix Glenn by robbing an adult toy store for dildos in different sizes to see if attaching stuff makes it a part of them? I just now came up with that idea and it seems SO good a scene to have had if whoever made this had any REAL creativity in them.

Fun fact, this movie was started right after Bride of Chucky but Universal said it was too gay and said no. It took Don Mancini years to finally make it and get another studio. During my last rewatch of the series, I found myself enjoying it more since I knew what to expect. It's bad for sure but it's stupid fun.

While I'm not a fan of this movie, I appreciate them not retconning it. Mancini had his vision, didn't turn out great but he moved on, compared to other franchises like Texas Chainsaw rebooting over and over, I appreciate that Chucky's original continuity is still going.

Exactly. Nothing fan of this movie other than: Jennifer Tilly, Tiffany being a mom, and the amazing theme song of the movie. I wish it didn't exist, since Chucky died for many years, but thank God he came back with two more good movies and his great series.

"Seed of Chucky" is a personal favorite and I'm so glad you had fun with it even if the alcohol made the experience a bit much 😅 I had a lot of fun watching your drunken journey though so thanks for the smiles and laughs 😄

As a person who lived in the U.S. my entire life, I can tell you that the Julia Roberts recurring gag is because all through the 90's and 2000's, Julia Roberts was WAY more popular in the U.S. than she really needed to be. Also, she's the Aunt of Emma Roberts, who you saw in Scream 4.

The best thing about this movie is definitely the increased gore which will be present in every movie after this.

Little trivia, the stage director who got his head chopped off, is Tony Gardner who created the doll animatronics for the movies

So glad you enjoyed this one. Because I had a feeling you probably hate it. But so suprising you gave it 4 1/2 stars. Glad to see people are appreciating that this movie is just good fun despite how goofy and over the top it is. Edit: Congratulations on becoming a Dad so proud of you.🥳🥳🥳

On rewatch of this movie it makes me realize it is pretty ahead of it’s time in terms of “meta” Jennifer tilly starring in a role for a movie about her life and the who trans nature of Glenda it is honestly kinda fascinating

Glenda is an obvious reference to the Ed Wood movie from the 50s about his own gender bending which was originally meant to be about a trans person

"They're just dolls. You can buy them at Wal-Mart." Actually, the entire family is still on sale to this day at Spencer's, usually right next to the adult toys. Spencer's is like the only store a kid can go into that has fleshlights and vibrators in it. Kinda messed up, true, but sometimes I find cool stuff there.

I enjoyed your reaction more than i expected. personally I think this movie is much easier to connect to if you already have a connection with an specific part of queer culture, or if you open your mind enough to connect even with all its weirdness. Like that paparazzi with funny moustache is John Waters, an icon of queer trash movies and culture. Glenn or Glenda is a movie by Ed Wood, a known crossdresser, and the movie is a low budget with Bela Lugosi about gender and identity IN THE 50's, so obviously another icon. I know people often say "it's camp" to excuse terrible shit, but Seed of Chucky is definitely a love letter to camp.

Most people can't accept that because this one really dives into comedy and they're like "Yoooo Chucky is scary bro 😱" when actually even the original concept is impossible to be taken seriously lol Like the "You stupid bitch" scene in the original 😂😂😂 Chucky just works better when they mix the "scary" and comedy parts and doesn't take itself too seriously.

This is actually my favorite movie out of the series. Didn't take itself too seriously at any point in the movie and I actually got a little emotionally choked up for poor Glen/Glenda

I really just feel so bad for the twins, bro. Like in Bride of Chucky. Mom immediately dead once they were born... The kid knew they couldn't breastfeed. There was no other option to survive. It was like Glenda was originally the animalistic trauma, and Glen was the actual Moral integrity, that Glenda tried to protect... till Chucky, yet again, got someone so innocent and undeserving, to Mentally SNAP.

this was the first chucky movie and I just loved the absurdity of the whole thing
