kimberly j Religion helps some but not all. Not to get into a debate but without people setting aside selfishness and making the right choice we will never succeed. God(s) (as I respect all religions ;) ) have given guidance but how many times do people follow their words perfectly? So instead on relying on them we must be accountable and so it comes down to the individual to knowingly make the right choice. Which all are more than capable of doing, but many find it too burdensome to do consistently if at all or they don't know what the right choice is. Even I have bulked when donating because I have to provide for my family too even on months where money is an issue. So its hard sometimes to do whats right. :/

It's so good to hear from people who want to adopt. There are so many kids, many of them older like Ke'onte, that need a home, but most of them grow up in a broken foster care system and oftentimes become dysfunctional adults. It seems everyone who wants to adopt, wants and infant or toddler, but there are tons of older kids in the system that could be the next great inventor, leader or artist if given a home and some guidance.

MrRickliam Yea, no, I didn't say everyone is an idiot. I said most people. School, specially if your an adult, you are surrounded by people who have made a concious decision to educate themselves. So it's a higher concentration of mature, and smart people there. Out in the real world, not so much.

It's even better to see fewer and fewer of them. Look closely at your death cult. Sacrificing innocents (the basis of your cult), cannibalistic rituals (you know the one), your sadistic, innocent child killing god concept (flood, Egypt's last plague), etc. You should be ashamed.

Vondoom903 Not in the name of atheism though. No one holds their sword up, points it at the enemy, and shouts, "In the name of atheism", or "For atheism and country." Some despicable people just happen to be atheists. Ridding society of the death cults will stop many atrocities, but no one thinks they will disappear altogether.

What a great happy ending to his search for a family, he obviously found the right one at the right time and vice versa. I believe kind people are brought together to help each other, and both the anchor and the young man clearly both possess that kindness. So happy and sincere and caring, genuine and appreciative, both of them toward each other. I'm going to repeat the following comments in another comment: 1.) For men and women who were affected emotionally and brought to tears, please know that it is nothing to be ashamed of and a sign of strength and connection to your humanity. Anyone who would shame you for them has the problem, not you 2.) For those who thought the reunion seemed a bit awkward, it may have appeared so for two probable reasons: TV is a very artificial environment where you have to be and also are made hyper aware that thousands to millions are watching you right now, so it affects behavior and normal interaction. The other reason is because the crew was all in on the surprise and were keeping their emotions as hidden as possible as the story played, especially knowing he was there and would be surprising their truly kind and caring co-worker to whom this would mean so much, and they would get to share that moment. The kid probably wanted to not take up too much time or embarrass her, which is why he was prepared with the tissue, lol. She handled the situation very appropriately and with probably much more self control than a lot would have because she is a professional. Knowing that her heartfelt concerns to make sure he was happy and loved were her first reaction just shows how sincere she was being at the time. Genuine people like this truly are inspiring and give me hope for humanity.
