Walden is a nice area but it is not a gated community as are others around the lake. Thus it can get pretty crowded on weekends and holidays.

Yeah, though parts of Walden are gated, the community has a hole is not. It’s the largest single community on the lake with only one entrance so trying to gate it would be a nightmare. It’s definitely one of the downsides compared to some of the other neighborhoods on the lake.
Are golf carts allowed to drive on community streets for recreational use? Like cruising to the water, or food?

They are, although I’ve seen people use the nature trails instead of Walden Road because it is so busy. The rest of the streets it’s pretty common.
