Mash buses are all fitted with untampered speed governors. That's KCX 022A mombasa to migori. Even with safe speeds of 80km/h, they still make it on time.

What usually makes scanias seem so fast is, not only due to their insane torque figues which keeps gear changing to a minimum and thus momentum, but their long gear ratios which are good for speed. Ans since they essentially use a truck engine it will be fast simce buses are not as heavy as trucks. I mean a fully loaded bus with a 360 hp 1600Nm engine ia basically around 7-8 tonnes while the truck equivalent is about 18 tonnes to 26T thus why these buses fly so to speak. The isuzus used to be optimised for acceleration and had short gear ratios but now with their turbo charged engines on the new 7th gen trucks they can pretty much compete with the high power scanias

@@user-nh1jf9ey1l blame the driver not the bus. With lots of torque available at almost the whole rev range means it's up to you to manage the vehicle, the auto Scania buses don't suffer from this

Frr33 is the old generation...naturally aspirated...without a turbo. It's the new Frr90 aka 'slayqueen which came with a turbo churning out 190hp compared to this one of 188hp. No comparison with the powerful 360hp Scania.

Unlike say the UK where land is prime, in Kenya we have considerable spacege and yet by some limitations in conceptual intelligence we seem to be satisfied with thin narrow ribbons of tarmac by way and or in the name of roads/ highways and this extends even to the urban networks coming up and down the country..... can't we conceptualize that a few years ahead there is a definite likelihood of growth in the volume of vehicular traffic and provisions for same can be factored in our current construction initiatives!!!

Not real ena was recently involved in a grizzly road accident, simba coach is bad news(kunguni not keeping their promises ie they carry people going two different destinations kitale and kisumu so they abandon some passengers at junction passed nakuru, what is that? Maybe dreamline to a lesser extent yet not fully exonerated from blame. I made up my mind never to travel with tahmeed fullstop...... 8:18

This was not a contest, everyone was moving at his comfort zone of speed. Otherwise in a contest, not even the Frr33, even the MV123 and FVR34 are no match for the Scania. The bus company is good but best drivers are everything and are mostly found in nyanza and riftvalley Kenya because most don't smoke weed or chew Khat.while or before driving...compare mash,coast bus ,nyamira tahmeed ena,buscar,dreamline,easy coach and tell me which company has had many accidents,mash is top ten no wonder they have speed governors,tahmeed followes,cuz their drivers chew khat and smoke weed too...in europe police test drivers for weed and alcohol cus they cause many accidents and khat also illegal...so that's why I'd feel safe being driven by a person from Nyanza, and rift valley especially Kisii and Kalenjins than from any other part of the country...., that's just my opinion..🧐

Mash East Africa, which incldues Mash POA and Mash Cool are a Super Bus Company….i haved used them extensively over the Years….their Drivers are Excellent as they drive @ a reasonable Speed, and have no problem being overtaken by other Buses and other Motor Vehicles. So what is a School Bus w/Children i presume, overtaking Mash POA….Shame on the School Bus Driver, the safety of our Children is paramount, taking into cosideration the Speed you drive ans the Lives of our Children !!!😠😤😡
