True, we have to change our consumerism culture and look for ways to achieve equitable food distribution 👍!
Awesome information! The grocery stores usually pull anything imperfect or what they call damage off the shelves daily but I will look!

Yes, the more we get to accept that not all food grows perfect the easier it becomes for people to accept garden food as real food ❤️!
I SUBSCRIBED. I am a teammate in TEAM WILSON. It is fun watching what fellow growers are doing! I will keep an eye open to see what you have going on this growing season.

Thank you Robert ❤️! How can we positively influence the mindset of consumers who think fruits or produce that is not perfect is still good food?!

@@julienaturegrowerstv1958 You can make a video showing its use, side by side with the best looking examples. Show them they are the same.

Great suggestion, will work on it 👍!
There are a few places here in US that take "imperfect foods" and sell them or even give them away to people. Even with this, there is so much waste.

That's a great step! I'm sure the people who buy those imperfect foods are grateful they can get something to eat. Again it's the outer appearance and nothing bad with the food 👍
Julie you've made some really great points and highlighted somethings that so very true. I think supermarkets should sell the produce they consider not perfect for a small price instead of throwing them out. Your zucchinis are looking good💖

True Stacey! Selling the imperfect produce at a lower price means even those short hard of cash can afford and access food. It would go along way in reducing the high level of food insecurity globally.

So true! Consumers are cultured to look for the perfect Mango, the perfect banana, or the perfect tangerine 🍊 and the rest. When we export food, we only send the best. For developed countries, they expect their food to be the best because they are used to consuming perfect imported produce. Farmers in developed countries are tasked to keep up with such high standards. There must be some misfits 😁 when growing crops! Unfortunately that is how food waste thrives in the system while others are dying of hunger. What can we do? 🤷♀️

I can do either, but prefer cooked. I am really into adding as much raw veggies and fruits as possible right now for better health. Your Zucchini looks amazing!! Because it is natural and not hopped up on gmo’s covered in wax and polished nor laden with pesticides which we in developed countries are consuming to find that perfect fruit or veggie ;*( BTW new subscriber!
