Your love for seeking these places and for God and His word, It’s so contagious! 😊God bless you all! I tell as many people I can, friend and family wise and where we worship at and share on Facebook and will keep on sharing to refresh it in people’s minds 😊 I love the background music also! It is beautiful and subtle and relaxing and goes so well, doesn’t take away at all, but adds something to it. It definitely makes a difference even in details like this and you all succeed and go above and beyond in everything! 😊 Do you have a music play list?

    Interesting idea. We’ve chosen to stick to the details given in the gospel accounts for these videos, which do not make mention of the specific spot of where He was born other than that it says that He was born in the city of Bethlehem and laid in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn. In Luke chapter 2 it mentions that the shepherds in the fields near Bethlehem had to come “over to Bethlehem to see Jesus”, implying that He was not actually out there in the fields with them, but in the city. Regardless of where specifically He was born in Bethlehem, Jesus is most certainly our sacrificial lamb, the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world!

    Fantastic video! Interesting note...outside the church of the nativity stands the statue of Jerome who translated the Latin Vulgate, the Vulgate was translated not from the recieved texts as the King James version was, but rather from the works of Origen of Alexandria who was a gnostic. At that time Alexandria and Rome were the only two remaning bastions of occult knowledge.

    I believe these stones are from an old Roman fort and the temple was located south of the location. "And Jesus said to them, 'Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down."" Matthew 24:2 (NKJV)

  • @appianmedia

    @appianmedia

    We appreciate your feedback. There is no historical evidence, and little logic, to suggest that the Romans would have so thoroughly destroyed and dismantled there own fort. A popular opinion online, but not something that is supported by scholars.

    I have a question, in Mark 13, 1-2 it says: "As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!” 2 “Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” " So is the Temple Mount of today the same place as it was at that time? And if so, who built the walls and everything that we see today (not talking about the Mosque)

  • @appianmedia

    @appianmedia

    5 жыл бұрын

    Great question! The short answer to the question is: Yes...the Temple Mount of today is in the same place as it was during the time of Jesus. However, some of the stones in the four walls that mark the perimeter of the Temple Mount are different. During the Roman destruction in 70AD, not only was the temple burned and destroyed, but also much of the other colonnades and walls around the Temple Mount area. Since that time, other groups of people (most of it attributed to the Crusaders and Ottomans) rebuilt the walls around the Temple Mount. You can see clear evidence of this as you look at the walls. You will see Roman/Herodian stones up to a specific level, and then later period stones on top of those. The clearest example is when you look at the stones above the Western Wall plaza. The first seven rows above the floor of the plaza are from the first century. the rows of stones above those first seven rows are from later periods (mostly Ottoman). And, if you know that, the differences in the stones is striking. Interestingly, if you were to dig below the level of the Western Wall plaza, you would find an additional 14 rows of Roman/Herodian stones from the first century. So, yes...the Temple Mount area that you see today occupies the exact same location as the Temple Mount area from the first century. And, for the most part, it is enclosed by the exact same walls (although the top parts of those walls have been restored since that time). For more specific information about the Temple Mount area, consult any book written by Leen Ritmeyer.

    Jesus said, "Not ONE stone" would be left. Therefore, not one stone is left from that temple. After deeply studying much historical research, I'm convinced that this current 'temple mount' location is not the exact location of the 2nd temple. It is, however, the location of an old Roman military fortress. The true temple location was very close, just south of the location currently referred to as the temple mount.

  • @appianmedia

    @appianmedia

    4 жыл бұрын

    I'm now Living in Peace We would encourage you to read the passage again. He does not say that not one stone would be left...but that “not one stone would be left upon another.” The large stones that were pushed down off of this location, featured in this episode, are in fact the stones that the Romans pushed off of the Temple Mount structure. For the Romans to so severely tear down, stone by stone, their OWN military fortress is simply not logical, and not at all supported by the history or archaeology of the place.
