This is my first time watching your channel, and when i saw it was a grain bin, i had to stop and take a look. What an ingenious idea for an outdoor kitchen. I love everything about it. The antique stove is a really nice touch. And i sure do like the grill/smoker. The way those panels slide up, way cool. I look forward to following along on your journey through life. 👍😁

They also my great storage sheds or even a guess house. I went to strip led lights👉👉 Brighter, cheaper to buy and run them 33' for only 30 watts 👀 VS a 60 watt or 90 watt light bulb Plus your can cut them up for more lighting in 1 spot or run a stringer of them Plus they come with a dim switch

That's dope. I've been planning to do much the same thing with a cargo container (and I'll probably stick with that, because I am no geometrist) but this is way more picturesque. Outdoor kitchens are the best. Necessary if you live in the South or SW IMO. Thanks for not turning it into a tiny home.

I really like your slide up sides! Way more functional for controlling wind/ventilation. Could you go into a little more detail on how you made them. They seem really simple and quick to use. Very cool outdoor kitchen!

Interesting repurpose of a small bin! Perhaps in floor heat would be an idea when you move it, to keep it above freezing. You have given me some ideas. Great video!

Just got one of these, have to put it up soon. Did you use piece of eqpt to assemble by holding up roof and attaching sides as it moved up? Or install using the posts instead. Appreciate any help.

i just bought an 18 foot grain bin and will do some of the same things with it . did you seal the underside of the wood top . loved your window panels . I'm trying to figure a way to counter balance them , maybe an old garage door spring set really low . good luck on your move .

I'd recommend taking your time with the build....you will not know what you need til you use it for awhile.... I've spent many hours while bbq'n starin and ponderin!.....yes I sealed the underside of the countertops with marine grade waterlox. I think you'd have to counter balance both sides as the panels want to move uneven and bind. Have fun with your build!

My husband immediately noticed the old chainsaws up on display in the background- he has the exact same one on the right that he has been holding on to just for fun. Super heavy! We enjoyed this video , we cut up our own meat, smoke several cuts and drink beer. Love the “bar” lit up at night. Where do you guys live now and where are you moving to where it’s wetter? Just curious. Thanks 😊

Oh I have more ol' chainsaws! We live in the central Oregon high desert on 5 acres now.....movin to the Willamette Valley to almost 30 acres. We'll be starting over building a home, fencin, ponds, hydro power etc. What was I thinkin lol!

I love the roll up window idea! Do you have a way to keep them closed (lock/latch) to keep critters and weather out?

I have another video on just the slide doors. There's no need to latch them down as they have to be lifted from both ends or they will bind.
