The best lesson my Dad taught me was to only give what I can afford to lose. And this has really helped me. Many tend to fault in repaying their loans and me, I don't have energy to running up and down looking for someone owing me. Simple. If they need 100,000 Naira and you can afford to lose 50,000 then give them. The LORD will help them get the rest 🙏 The LORD GOD is our strength. 😊

I am exactly like Deacon Ralf and his wife. In most times of waiting for my debtors to return my money, I have usually found myself feeling like canceling their debts. However, I don’t tell them when I decide to do so until I can see their honest and integrity at the end of it all. If they return, I may quickly cancel their debt and let them keep what they returned. But if they disappoint me by not returning, then that is when I vow in my heart never to ever render them such kind of help again. On the other hand, I in some years back would lose vital money because most people I helped by lending them money without any interest ended up refusing to payback what they owed me. I learnt a lesson and adjusted, and I now only lend money that I can afford to lose. This has helped me a lot.

sometimes God allows situations in our lives to expose people's heart or to work on our own character. Besides it is near impossible to never ever make a bad judgement, we are still human and telling people otherwise is just a lie. Let's stop with the over spiritualisation aka fake spirituality.

I say a straight forward 'no' to lend such people money, specially because they call themselves 'Christians' and then manipulate others by using God's name to make their beg-story impressive. Its a red flag already, because if they really trusted God, they'd ask God and God will lead me to give them. If they really trusted God, they'd trust that God is their provider, not me. I have set boundaries on my money and finances, my money is a blessing from God and fruit of my integrity & labour, I will not allow it to serve evil intentions, wicked people or negativity.

Let this message in the skit be loud and clear and let none miss it, because even some children of the faith have fallen into this trap of enjoying not to pay back what they owe. This has contributed in trying to make the body of Christ a limping one. Imagine a believer borrowing from a non believer and never paying back? Can that non believer see anything good in being a Christian? We have lost many opportunities to win souls to Christ through such acts of dishonesty and lack of integrity. God says that His name is blasphemed among the gentiles because of us - Romans 2:24. For this shall He judge some of us. I hope your life is preaching for and not against the Christ who saved you. Thank you The Winlos for this powerful message.

Gratitude is lacking in the lives of many including mine nowadays. If someone is able to loan you the smallest amount you asked for, be thankful. Never measure the "tiny amount" with the "wealth" you think they have because you never know how much they might have sacrificed just out of human sympathy to be able to loan you that money. Always be grateful and learn to keep to your promise. Unanticipated events might come in the way nevertheless apply wisdom and ask God for help.

It is so true that debtors who don't pay back, cause so much hurt, mistrust in everybody, etc. Maybe that's why our Lord Jesus Christ put this forgiveness in the heart of The Lord's prayer - Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors 🙏 In fact Jesus went on to teach in the sermon on the Mount, that we should not even ask back what we've given. I think Jesus was teaching us steps of faith, that God our Heavenly Father will provide, if we give and forgive.

This is a very great work you're doing. May God give you more grace and make you spend eternity with Him, in Jesus' Name. Please permit me to suggest that rather than only sharing a Bible verse at the end of each video, why not include an Altar call? Your messages will win more souls to the Kingdom when the call to action is an Altar call unto salvation rather than a plea for financial support!
