lol I didn’t realize the head moved brought in 5 gallon containers. left without water thinking could only fill gallons

I’m curious does the machine stop working when the filters are to dirty , are the filter replaced on a time basis

How can you tell when machines have been serviced with new filters? If local city water taste like sulfur and chlorine, will the machines water taste like that too? Can I fill a 5 gallon bucket?

I saw a video of the inside these machines and there is almost inside. According to Primo support seems they "clean" the units vs changing filters??

Hi I bought the 5 gallon in Walmart but I was in doubt if I had to open and clean first at home to fill after that. After buying the empty bottle do we need to wash it first at home or just go to fill it?

Hi - Great question! There's no recommendation in place to wash your bottles before refill.

Can you refill bottles for top loading machines? Or are those exchanges only? It’s more expensive for water than just buying bottles for the exchange, but much cheaper if I can do refill. But I missed up and bought a top loader.

What do we do about a lid for refilling out bottles for top loading machines??? The machine doesn’t put a new lid on for us. And even if we keep the lid on, what about the little plug?? The dispenser pushing the plug into the bottle.

My walmart is advertising the refill is 39 cents a gallon. How do you check out, and not pay for the new bottle? How do they know it's a refill?

Hi, thanks for contacting us. Normally, if the refill machine is inside the retail location, you would bring your bottles inside, fill them up, and take them to a register for payment. You'll let the cashier know when you take the bottles up for payment. If the machine is an outside based machine, you will insert your money into the machine and choose the amount of water to dispense.

Im not sure why you wouldnt be able to. Ive refilled all three of mine multiple times and multiple different walmart stores across my state. (SC)

How do you clean bottles in between uses? Have you ever done the exchange? I'm new to this life, never thought I could be so confused by water 😂

Thank you for your question. Returnable and reusable bottles are cleaned and sanitized in a stainless steel, mechanical bottle washer. Bottles pass through 5 stages. The bottle washer is supplied with filtered, potable water. The returnable bottles go through the following steps: A prewash when bottles first enter the washer and then a minimum 120°F bottle wash with a food grade alkaline detergent. A filtered rinse follows the wash, then a sanitizing rinse with a food grade EPA registered sanitizer followed by another filtered rinse and then an ozonated rinse as a final sanitation of the bottles. Temperature, detergent concentration, sanitizer concentration, and carryover checks are performed to make sure the washer is operating within specification as well as visual verification of nozzle alignment.

You only need to clean bottles about twice a year too if you're not putting your mouth on the jug lol. You don't got to stress too much on it especially if you're drinking the water

Yes, you could bring a glass bottle that is less than a gallon, but please be advised that the smallest water option any of our Refill Machines offer is 1 Gallon, and some may only offer 3 Gallon as the lowest.

@@primowaterco $6.50 per cap?!?! I think I just bought the wrong water dispenser... UPDATE: I found caps for these water bottles that are inexpensive and reusable, and work perfectly with my Primo water dispenser. I found them on Amazon and bought a supply that should last for quite some time.

It’s not. You go their with your jug and fill it up and pay for it in either self checkout or from the dispensary

Where are your deep wells located? Or where is your water from wells sourced from. Id rather buy the purified well water, but your company is not transparent about where your water is sourced from. Other bottled water companies are very clear on this. Makes me not trust this water.
