See how access to the right tools fuels a new generation of Alzheimer's research

As Namrata Das, PhD, began a career in cognitive neuroscience, a Friends of BrainHealth research grant helped her gain access to cutting-edge technology, including spectroscopy and neuroimaging, to conduct novel brain health research focused on identifying new markers for Alzheimer's.
Dr. Das relies on these early-career experiencesas she seeks out new ways to help improve well-being for populations in need. Following completion of her PhD at UT Dallas, Dr. Das has engaged in postdoctoral research at Harvard University and UT Southwestern.
The Friends of BrainHealth donor circle provides critical support for life-changing studies, raising more than $4.3 million since 2008 and launching dozens of cutting-edge cognitive research studies. Annual seedling grants for early-career brain health researchers helps to inspire the next era of transformative brain health breakthroughs.
