The system sounds great! I think that you will definitely be one or, if not my most favourite alarm KZreadr. You do all these tests that I really enjoy, and even use really good devices such as that DSC siren! Saying that, I have a 5 wire Canadian DSC smoke detector with a built-in piezo! However, it was broken when I got it as the top cover was not connected.

I know you said you won’t do it but you should put a backup battery on the panel just so you can have the backlight work so it’s easy to see what you’re doing. Also unless your panel is different, you don’t have to press 1 before your code to disarm it. Just the code and then 1 will work.

How do you put a metal panel on the wall? Do you use a stud finder to find actual studs in the wall or some kind of drywall anchors?

That is a first alert keypad not a Honeywell but the transformer is Honeywell

What you should do is have the siren off and do the alarms with no sirens

In GA, this illustrious company is alleged to be sending its salespersons, uninvited to people's homes, loaded with their personal info. The representatives of Honeywell are posing as if they were sent by the homeowners current security companies. When an unsuspecting homeowner allows them in, they're uninstalling and reinstalling Honeywell equipment. When the error is eventually discovered, it has been said to cost a few thousand to have the equipment uninstalled. If Honeywell is NOT aware this is being done in its name, you have some retraining to do. It seems to be a regular practice as revealed by a handful of security companies. By the way, the original security company is having to send their technicians BACK out to fix the problem, costing the homeowner double charges. When Honeywell is called by the homeowners as their reps are fervently trying to gain entry into these homes, this fraudulent act is upheld by whomever the rep calls, as the homeowner does seek verification, later to find out they've been scammed. This is alleged to have been reported to have occurred numerous times in Conley, GA, and surrounding areas.
