02:23 Do I use my public ip for the A record or local ip of the server that pterodactyl is running on? When I did this before and did the dns challenge even with port 80 open but with local ip address it fails the challenge. (it dosent fail with public ip used for A record)

Doesn't seem to work for me. I used to access the panel from an internal IP which is 192.168.1.24. Even after port forwarding and disabling my firewall, I was unable to access the panel from my public IP. Now after doing everything in order like in the tutorial, neither does the domain name work, nor does the Public IP. What would I do to fix this issue?

You can't use SSL with an internal IP, must be a domain (letters not numbers). Not easily atlest

my dns wont let me connect the min i use cloud flare im not able to acess the website but if i use a alt dns host i can ffs?

Disable CloudFlare proxy or create SRV records for the ports you are using.

@@SyntheticEverything yeah it was a updating error on cloudflare site had to leave it for a couple of hours and it’s all good now :)

i can't edit the node config and even when i do, it doesn't actually update it even after restarting wings

I've found that oftentimes you need to manually deploy changes to the Wings config.

@@SyntheticEverything it started working after i uninstalled some theme that i was using (it was making some functions of the panel unusable)
