Hi Will, useful content, but I felt this video lacking a bit of hands on demonstrating the techniques learnt in DAX studio and Tabular editor. Thanks. More of a theoretical part only. Appreciate demonstration videos on those topics.
Incremental refresh is available for Power BI Semantic Models using PRO licenses. The only feature that you do need premium is the hybrid table functionality that combines import and direct query in the same table using custom partitioning. Only Incremental Refreshes for Dataflows Gen1 are exclusive to PPU licenses.

On question 3 the USERNAME() is also a right answer. When you publish the model to PBI Service this informational function also returns the user principal email, though when used locally on PBI Desktop it returns the DOMAIN/USERNAME.
